Disappointed to see that OCUK jacked the price up within days of stock finally arriving. The Gen 3 versions have gone from £99.95 to £119.99, and the Gen 4 versions from £134.99 to £149.99.

OCUK are now saying 21st March for stock 😟 I've sent in a cancellation request for my order. Every case I've ever pre-ordered with them has been late. And after the GPU debacle, I don't feel that comfortable paying them for goods which they don't yet have. I'll order one when it's in stock.

Hopefully it's sooner rather than later. If not, with any luck Machines & More will do a bunch of tests by then so we know the optimal set-up :)

OCUK. The EK AIOs are on sale too, which is good timing.

Yup Just a shame from Lian Li and Dondan's point of view that he also dropped the review early. Wouldn't have been an issue if it dropped alongside half a dozen other reviews.

To be fair, he clearly liked the case and it was good to see someone working with it. And he seemed quite aware that the problems were his own fault 🤪 But yeah, this is an SFF-noob approach to building. I'm looking forward to seeing what OT and Hardware Canucks can do.

Mainly 240mm, but technically able to do 90mm, 120mm, and a bunch of more obscure sizes too. The 280mm is the max radiator length IIRC. A 280mm radiator will be a bit longer than 280mm (and also too wide; >140mm).

    Enclosure Coolermaster NR200

The case is excellent. I got mine last week, replacing my Ncase M1. Upsides vs the M1: Compatible with taller CPU coolers. Compatible with 280mm AIOs. Better custom loop support. Supports vertical GPU mounting. My PCIe power cables no longer push up against the side panel (5700 XT Nitro+)...

The changes sound great. Can't wait to see the new case! Going to unsubscribe from this thread for now though as it seems like this case is a way off from release yet, and I've just ordered an NR200. I'll check back from time to time to see if there's any news.

It would be deceptive to pretend the NR200 isn't a competitor. Of course it is. There isn't anything on the market quite like it currently, without spending $/€/£200+ But that doesn't mean it's all bad. It provides a cheap(ish) route in to SFF, and could well cause the market to grow faster...

Personally, I don't care much either way. But it could be argued that without is better; it reduces cost, removes a potentially superfluous component (either because someone doesn't need a front connector, or because they can't use USB-C) and improves the look of the case. The inconvenience is...

280mm AIO in an 11.3 litre case would be pretty massive. Isn't the Streacom DA2 currently the smallest that supports this? And that's 17.6L (IIRC).

Biggest takeaway for me from the thermal testing is that air cooling has problems. This calls in to question the point of having a dual layout, given its primary advantage is air cooling support. Is it possible to fix air cooling performance? Maybe by adding 2x 120mm fan mounts above the...
