Almost 90?! My stock wasn’t reaching that high. It wasn’t going above 83 for stock. Currently clock at 1875 MHz and 825 mV, my temp is stable at 74.

Fyi, 5800x runs hot compared to the other 5000 series. It’s the CPU itself. From Anandtech

Little modification required for Black Ridge I believe. Otherwise you’re probably better off with L9a/I with a fan duct.

1 fan in the bottom should be exhaust. I think that would improve it. Kinda weird you are getting 83 on yours. My 3080 FE should’ve been higher than that but I only get a max of 77C and mine is undervolted to 2025MHz/.925V.

    I should invest on a 3D printer.

Yep. Can confirm. I just reverted back to my old configuration. Time Spy stress test went back to 77 highest for the CPU. 3080 at 76. Wasted my money on losermod. Lol

Did a test with losercard mod. Don’t bother with it. CPU temperature actually went up to 81. I’m actually not sure why. Without the mod my cpu temp was just around 76ish. GPU temperature for 3080 stayed the same with or without the mod.

Time Spy stressed test achieved 99.5% These are the highest temp. also, when I did an exhaust for the AIO fan, the GPU temp went down to 60s during the stress test. But the CPU temp went as high as 95 lol. So best configuration is still both intake.

I’m impressed with the undervolt of my card, found a sweet spot, 1875mhz and 812mv.

Ah. I don’t think I need it then. I just did an undervolt like you did. I ran heaven with 1860 MHz and 825mV. It stayed at 75. Do you think you can go lower in voltage?

I was thinking of doing the loser card mod. Is it worth it?

Just sharing the results of Firestrike and Timespy with fresh installed Windows 10, default BIOS setting, everything is stock. Also, I chose not to run the fan at the bottom of the motherboard for this run.

It was included with the case. I’m not sure about doing double pcie. I don’t think it’s necessary.

Is there a rule about posting back to back? Anyway, I took it apart to show how it looks. 1st pic, the double standoff I was talking about. It gives more clearance for the PSU and it clears the AIO problem. 2nd-4th pic, this is the problem using a single stand-off. Closer to PSU, and the end...

You’re right. There are two already installed. Add two more to extend it more.
