Oh, that is a mistake, should be 2x8GB. I'm aiming for more RAM, but VLP is hard to come by.

Memory Very low profile DDR4 ram

I can confirm that KVR26N19S8L/8 overclocks well. It is Nanya F-die which behaves like Nanya B-die (according to integralfx). I was able to stabilize it with similar values that Buildzoid did with Nanya B-die on my Aourus B550i with Ryzen 5600. I got it to 3800MT/s 16-8/17-14-21-48 @ 1.46mV.

    Log Yet another A4-SFXv4.1 Build

I’m a MacBook user. My last PC was Celeron 500MHz with 32 GB RAM and Riva TNT2 16MB. Currently, I’m preparing for CompTIA A+ certification so I’ve decided to put to use what I’ve learned so far. I’m a minimalist so Small Form Factor was the way to go. Below I will describe the experience I’ve...

Guide to: swapping Black Ridge stock 92mm fan for 120mm underneath the radiator.

Sharing my experience here, as using 120 mm slim fan requires gentle modding to the Black Ridge screw holes to avoid damaging fan fins. Im assuming you already have Very Low Profile RAM. If not this is covered in this thread - I find this post most informative (at the time of writing I was...

    News Ryzen 9 3900 - 12 core 65W

Would it still be a good idea to choose 3900 over 5600 having video editing in mind, as their prices are similar atm?

Advice Dan A4-SFX v4.1 First SFF Build

So I went for: Gigabyte B550i - it was £127 on Black Friday so £10 cheaper than Asrock B550M-ITX Alpenfohn Black Ridge with Arctic P9 120mm Slim. This combo is way cheaper than Noctua with fan duct. Kingston 2 x 8 GB2 DDR4-2666 CL19 VLP Memory £34 RTX 3070 Eagle OC LHR £380 I want to fallow...

    Advice First -budget- SFF build

It's hard to build budget sff rig, as the parts are generally more expensive (cases, mobos, vlp ram). Most of your choices will be down to availablity therefore I think AM4 is the way to go. There is only 3 mobos you can currently buy new. The second hand ones usually sell for about £20 less...

Advice Dan A4-SFX v4.1 First SFF Build

Thanks for this enlightening information. Must say it set me back as I started to compare those two mobos (Gigabyte B550i and ASRock B550M-ITX). I like the idea that B550M-ITX is cheaper (-£50) and has better airflow, but has slower ports and what's worse their QVL list is very short (even...

    DAN A4-SFX v4.1

Is there a way to buy this plastic sheet that separates GPU from inner case? Or how can I make one (dimensions, material)?

Availability of DanCase spare parts on SFF Labs?

I will bump this thread. Im looking for plastic sheet separating gpu from inner case - or at least dimensions and advise on material. Thanks

Advice Dan A4-SFX v4.1 First SFF Build

I have now 750Ti. 1080 and 1080Ti are around £100-150 where 3070 is around £320-400 used on eBay in the UK. It's a hobby project and I don't plan to play very often therefore im leaning towards low budget cards that cane eventually run CP (this is not essential, but it would be nice to play it...

Advice Dan A4-SFX v4.1 First SFF Build

Hi, This is my first PC since I had one with Riva TNT2 16MB, and VooDoo3 was the thing every one wanted. I'm a minimalist, so when I've learnt about SFF community I knew that's something for me. I'm currently preparing for CompTIA A+ so decided to have a go and build my own PC. I don't have much...

CPU USB Type-C gen 2 mITX Motherboards

First of all I would like to apologise for posting under CPU. But I cannot find a way to edit this post in order to correct mistake. Big thanks for your reply. I do agree it's a proper mess with all the naming standards. This reminds me when we talked about USB in IT classes in 2006 - that USB...
