    Power Supply HDPLEX 200W DC-ATX

Thank you that's helpful. Shame there isn't a Dell 180W GaN with 7.4mm. I don't need high power, or USB... In 2021 FSP announced a U3 series of adaptors that were much smaller and more efficient, so you assume GaN, but their website doesn't specify, so you're left guessing. And then you have...

    Power Supply HDPLEX 200W DC-ATX

A while on, and this 200W version is a solid performer still, but interested in getting a GAN power brick for this, as will be more efficient and so I have back-up. Any advice please on suitable GAN power brick 7.4mm connector ~200W?

Haven't received the H610T yet, and only just buying the other components now. My Asus Q87T has a Performance and Power Saving Utility with some options. It appears to allow under-clocking but not more finescale changes to L1 / L2.. I'll check the BIOS... The Asus EZ Bios utility appears to...

Thanks, so seems clear to me that I'll need a T variant for a passive HDPlex build for the H610T, even though Asus says the board supports all the 65W base power processors...

I've bought an Asus H610T and not much info on the Asus website, I don't know what the BIOS power management options are... ....unless you're saying you can do this in Windows?

Interesting, thanks. Now that the Raptor Lake T variants are available (although not widely) I suppose that's an option, e.g. 13500T is 35W base up to 92W Turbo. But you'll get the performance hit as the clock speeds are lower.

That's good to know, thank you. Several other board manufacturers just say max 65W, leaving some ambiguity whether this means base power. If it is indeed the max then wont it significantly limit the processor performance?

Quick question on max power for Thin-ITX: Many boards say max 65W TDP processors, but processors now don't have TDP but rather Base and Turbo power. So can Thin ITX handle, say, i5 12400 at 65W Base and 117W Turbo? Or do you have to use the 35W low power variants?

    Power Supply HDPlex 250w GAN

Oddly enough, another 250W GAN power supply has popped up: the Pico-Box GAN-ATX-250W. It is slightly bigger than the HDPlex, at 187mm x 60mm x 32mm, but cheaper at $99. Otherwise details are sketchy. I don't know if Pico-Box are the OEM for the Pico-PSUs and other ITX power supply...

Motherboard Asus Pro H610T Thin ITX boards will not post

I'm sure a bit of a dumb question, but any issues with a 6-wire output from the Hdplex power supply into a 2-wire input to the motherboard? I assume you rig up a 2-wire Molex male by combining the three wires positive and three negative onto one pin each?

I was about to ask the exact same question... I don't understand why the industry can't collaborate and revise this 19V 'standard'. It's a mess: some boards have 19V, some 12V, some wide-voltage, some with no on-board power connector at all...
