It sounds like your brick can't serve enough current for the gaming load. A power meter would tell you how much it's trying to pull just before it cuts out. If you really like your Mini (as I do) consider a HDPLEX 400w AC-DC unit as your new brick. It's pricey and the AC wires are awkward...

Just a heads up, my unit (November batch) feeds back significant noise into the AC circuit when running. Loud buzzing on tube DAC, impeded powerline LAN, the works. A noise-filtering surge protector ameliorated the issue. Now it's just talking to itself.
