Prototype DAN HSLP-48: A powerful sub 50mm heatsink

Hmm. This might be interesting? I already have the C7. Anyone planning to get this and do some thermal tests. https://m.hexus.net/tech/news/cooling/117383-cryorig-c7-cu-full-copper-heatsink-cooler-released/

Absolute best possible thermals for the cpu

Alright. So I got the NH-C14S today and installed it. The installation process was pretty difficult. The only way I could mount the cooler was with the heat pipes horizontally starting from the left side terminating to the right. The cooler does not fit in any other way. But I was unable to...

    DAN C4-SFX - old

I can only speak for myself since every build is gonna be different. Since I already have the A4 without the acrelyc panels, it's more of a functional build than a aesthetic one. I'm planning to go RGB and whatnot for the C4 so I love the second option with the I/O at the top but maximum...

Really? I actually like this system. Ncase M1 (V4). I'm quite curious actually what don't you like about it? I love the fact that it's completely tool less and each panel can be independently removed.

Doesn't have to be this specific sliding mechanism but a tool less system is highly appreciated My A4 is actually tool less for me because the high quality Lian-Li mounting points are so stiff I got rid of the screws all together. I can't explain how convenient it is.

Many thanks for doing this. I believe many will appreciate if you can provide best practice configuration for budget, performance and extreme build like you did to the kickstarter backers for the A4. Atleast for me these guidelines are invaluable. Contrary to some members I really appreciate...

Prototype DAN HSLP-48: A powerful sub 50mm heatsink

I hope we hear something about this heatsink soon. Cryorig C7 just isn't cutting it It sounds like a jet engine and not that good at cooling the 7700k even at stock clocks and undervolted. If there's one thing I was looking forward to this year it was this cooler. As of now I don't know any...

L Lol spot on That's the motherboard I'd pick up for a build.

Absolute best possible thermals for the cpu

NCase at least for my founders edition card. But I have a 120 mm fan as intake right underneath the intake of the blower cooler. Usual operating temperature for my 1080 ti is 75 degrees under load (usual room temperature is 27 degrees).

@dondan Would you consider the case finishing to be sandblasted rather than hairline? I feel hairline has been done to death. And it'd differentiate the C4 from the A4.

Absolute best possible thermals for the cpu

Idle temperature was better than the NH-L12 But under load it performed worse. The HEX works a bit differently compared to the other coolers as in four of it's heatpipes removes the heat from the heat pump and not from the cold plate. I think it gets overwhelmed by the amount of heat dumped...

If you have any specific questions regarding building in the M1 please don't hesitate to ask I'll do my best to answer :)

Absolute best possible thermals for the cpu

He Hey, No I don't really have any build log. I mentioned the parts list on my first post. I didn't have any major problems with the build. The M1 is surprisingly easy to build in. Like I said, the only challenge is to cool that cpu while having a decent overclock. When I first built it I...

Absolute best possible thermals for the cpu

NO SFF case I have worked on works well with non reference coolers. Not just the M1. It's the same with the A4 and the Sentry. If you don't use a blower style cooler, cpu temperature will take a hit cooling which is more challenging than the gpu. When I was getting the 1080ti founders edition...

T That's not the fan I got with my C1. I think he replaced the cooler with a 120 mm fan to make it fit.
