I would think you would want intake for a fan at the bottom of the case since heat rises. I bought a third fan, the chromax a9 14mm, to use to exhaust "over" the CPU on the side of the case (not the top of the case - people aren't clear enough when discussing the locations) because while...

I think most people who don't have low profile ram will route the tubes around the ram, not above it or below it. I guess you could say below it, when the board is in the case and when the case is standing up properly..., And so around becomes below if that makes sense

I have this configuration with the AS Rock board, 9700k, and regular, non-low profile memory. The video card is also the 2080 super AMP from zotac with twin fan. It all works, although you can't mount the asetek lt645 squarely... It has to sit rotated, and one of the aluminum snap-in fasteners...

How long is your video card? Mine's about the maximum. Yeah I guess folks with 2080 ti won't have as much trouble.
