Nope, just line up your SSD to the screw holes and screw them in. They'll hold just fine. I was overthinking it at first too, but 2 screws totally works.
I've traveled a little with my Conswole (just taking it in the car, not a plane). I basically just had it in a well padded bag and had the actual Conswole laying flat for the trip. It was totally fine. I'd think as long as the case is adequately padded so that the whole thing isn't bumping or...
I've got the Conswole with the same Asus X570 board. Using a 3600 with a Noctua L12S cooler and the Corsair Vengeance LPX low profile memory. It all fits together in the Conswole fine. I think Sliger is adjusting future runs of the case, but with mine ( and others that noted this on the Sliger...
Quick question- for the Conswole/Console, how much room is there behind the motherboard and the case when everything is all mounted? Specifically asking to see whether something like the WD Black SN750 M.2 drive with the heatsink would fit ok on the rear M.2 slot of the mobo?
Aaaaand bought! Looking forward to building in the Conswole !
Also noticed on the main page for the Conswole it says it only supports up to 53mm coolers, when the Conswole supports up to 75mm coolers, like it states on the specs page.
Hopefully the slightly more uniform nature of the Console/Conswole makes the fulfillment process a little easier on all of the Sliger folks- I guess they'll still have some options like the addons like the base plate and handle and such but not having all the color options and various side panel...
I'd probably be in for the second option ( Conswole with FPIO but go ahead and ship the case w/o the board).
Would be exactly the same situation as when I ordered my SM580 at launch and the FPIO came separately and that was fine. Although I remember then the FPIO board actually came before my...
I would totally be onboard with the preinstalled Chromax fans... except I already bought a bunch when I got the rest of the parts for this build in December/November.
So I personally, wouldn't opt for them this go around but I love the idea.
Quick question on the colors for the...
So if using a 2 slot GPU in the Conswole, it would be possible to use 3 120x25mm fans, correct? That's at least what the initial post in this thread states.
My question then is whether there would be any disadvantage or advantage to using regular 120x25mm fans versus slim 120mm fans...
Guess I'll ask here since its regarding my planned Conswole build but does anyone know the best air cooler that will fit on the Asus X570-I Strix board?
I figure if I'm going for the Conswole, I'll have 70mm to play with which leads me to something like the NH-L12s or maybe the Big Shuriken...
