The console that Does it all | S4M, GTX 1080, brickless

Aside from the AC side and ground, they aren't connected at all. Each unit powers a separate part.

Neither did I before I started the build, but Digikey's awesome search function certainly helped sort that out.

The console that Does it all | S4M, GTX 1080, brickless

I can't say I've been without issues. I've tripped the overheat shutoff on the AC-DC unit a couple times since it's so close to the GPU, but that's mostly my fault. Moving the fans around seems to have fixed that. As far as power delivery goes, no problems at all. I had an 8700k in it before...

The console that Does it all | S4M, GTX 1080, brickless

Here it is. An all internally powered S4M with a GTX 1080 in it. It wasn't easy, and to be honest I thought i was going to end up frying my parts with the custom power setup, but it all works! In fact, it works well! In order to go brickless, I had to rethink how to power a PC that was this...

Completed Meanwell / Thin Mini-ITX Accessories : Load Switch and PCIe x4 Powered Riser

Actually, I hadn't seen that Acbel 275w. That's a really interesting form factor. I don't think it would work with my build, but regardless it's interesting. I thought heat would be a problem too when I was planning my build with the S4 Mini, but the Skyreach has better side vents which I'm...

Completed Meanwell / Thin Mini-ITX Accessories : Load Switch and PCIe x4 Powered Riser

The EPP-400-12 itself actually won't fit in the S4 with a graphics card installed. It's a 3x5 power supply. Only 2x4 power supplies will fit. I'm on mobile right now, so I can't share my mockups, but I'm looking at using supplies made by Artesyn and Bel power since they're both 2x4. The...

Completed Meanwell / Thin Mini-ITX Accessories : Load Switch and PCIe x4 Powered Riser

I'm planning on running a 1080ti off of a 250w AC to DC power supply while the rest of the PC is on another supply, hence the need for a load switch. My goal is to stuff an 8700k, Zotac 1080ti mini, and their power supplies into a Skyreach Mini. I still haven't figured out the exact PSU...

Are you still selling the load switches? I'd like to get one for a built I'm working on.
