------- I assume josh's video show cased it at one point though - I may need to revise it.

For safety I stuck with C13 anyway since thats obviously grounded. With a C6 port - I assume it isn't a case where I can 'simply' expect to de-soldering the C8 to C6 and expect it to fully work right? I feel like its a lot more complex than that.

Power Supply HDPlex 400W AC-DC Adapter

Apologise, but I have a few questions in-regards to making a brickless build - but it may be of help for future visitors. So if i'm not mistaken (correct me if wrong). To be 'brickless': 1 Power Connector & Safety - would it be highly ideal to have a polarized C8 connector? If I use the...

Power Supply HDPlex 400W AC-DC Adapter

This is rough pictures of my build at the moment though. I think the RX570 is too tall to fit the HDPLEX 400W to be brickless - That being said I am perfectly fine with going external - it certainly beats the Dell 330W brick Images PC PartPicker Build https://au.pcpartpicker.com/b/29dXsY

Power Supply HDPlex 400W AC-DC Adapter

Mine just arrived today (Australia) - I noticed a few things and I wanted to ask: It came with a C8 connector (thats a full figure 8 not one thats got sawn side that was shown on the website) - wondering if I can still use it with the HDPLEX 400W AC-DC with a standard figure 8 cable? Currently...

Noctua NH-L9i with 92x92x25 vs Cooltek LP53 with Noctua 92x92x14 Fan

I tested both and I believe that the LP53 will cool better because the L9i is pretty weak and is for like non-k varients eg the i5-8400. The (copper) LP53 can cool my delidded 8700K no OC - with the L9i fan (3mm to spare) - idling 39c and I maxing at 62c with CSGO via iGPU. While the Cryorig...

Power Supply HDPlex 400W AC-DC Adapter

I think mine shipped 11th March - im guessing its stuck at Shenzhen International Mail Exchange Bureau or something - i'm extremely patient for some reason. On a side note - I did notice Josh in a video removed the housing from the HDPLEX to enable the GPU connector to sit with enough room...

Power Supply HDPlex 400W AC-DC Adapter

I might run it externally temporarily - would I need to do anything or would it just suffice using the supplied cables to connect them like a dell replacement? Maybe a dust filter? or would airflow be sufficient to prevent dust build up over time considering the opposite side having simular holes?

Power Supply HDPlex 400W AC-DC Adapter

Just curious since I have a ITX Sapphire Pulse RX570 *(and a Skyreach 4 Mini)* - Will I require a low profile adapter for the PCiE Cable on the Graphics Card - considering the dimensions of the HDPLEX 400W AC-DC Adapter? (Forgive me if it has asked before - it seems to be of a standard ITX...
