    Rivet nuts

They are fairly easy to install, you just need the tool to install and that costs ~£30 and up. I think I've seen M3 as the smallest size. You need to drill the correct size hole and practice with getting the right level of 'squeeze' on the tool so that it holds firm when tightening the screws...

    Chimera Industries - Cerberus - Build M109A6 v1

If you have an EK rad, disassemble the spacers and shroud. Then you can drill out the holes and access the rad ports directly (assuming that you use an EK rotating 90, drill out to 20mm). Shaves about 5mm from the height of the swivelling elbow. Hint: use a sheet metal stepper drill (looks like...

Where to get a custom radiator?

Nice, I think household pressure usually runs at from about 4bar to maybe 8bar. More than enough for a cooling loop. I second the silicone sealing idea. Alternatively, something like 'liquid electrical tape' perhaps.

Nice! How are you sealing in the copper tubes? Are you going to pressure and leak test??

    modding an Ncase M1

Shame about those temps, perhaps the air is still being recirculated. Maybe try a cardboard duct? Have you used Asus Realbench? That seems to be a pretty decent stress test.

Production Apex - 15L portable watercooled build

Nice setup! Really novel design. That keyboard, what is it? Also, are you leaving the stickers on the ball valve for any reason?

    Modding EK Coolstream SE

So initial testing done. Turns out fans set to 'quiet' is clearly not enough; temps were heading for 90+ after 10mins without much sign of slowing down. Definitely transient and not steady state behaviour. Having recorded ambient and GPU temps, I've produced the following data with 2x Scythe...

    Modding EK Coolstream SE

Update #2: Loop is finally ready! Just needed a new PSU, some new fittings and bits... I'll be testing a standard EK 120SE / modified-120SE radiators in the following fan configurations: single (pull) slim fan / double (push-pull) slim fan / single thick fan. The slim fan is the Scythe...

    Modding EK Coolstream SE

Update #1: So, having spent some time playing with the fins and some wooden toothpics, the mod now is complete. Not sure if we will see a huge difference in temperatures but worth a shot. Above is mid-mod and you can hopefully see some variation in fin spacing in the middle few rows. Certain...

    Power Supply SilverStone SX800-LTI - 800W Titanium-rated SFX-L

Apparently end of the month or beginning of March. SO frustrating; need it for my modified Coolstream SE 120 experiment.

Titan Z. May have to modify the GPU water block as fittings are still clashing. I've already milled out some of the acetal cover to access the GPU fan header.
