For a straight airflow wouldn't it be better if you mount the psu to the side, like the m1 and create a front intake ? So you would have an airflow from front to back (sure a little bit obstructed by the psu).

I've already read that the case may be fit dtx but then without the midplate.
Since I already own a dtx board and like the concept of a two chamber with big air cooling, would it be possible to create a midplate with cutouts to fit?

3-slot, with room for 2 small fans underneath
2x front intake fans, with unobstructed access to fresh air
at least 160mm cpu cooler height
