Completed MJOLNIR: The minimalistic – but not boring – 9.7L Case

Both 2.3 and 2.4 are way better than 2.1 or 2.2 in my opinion. The alternating big/small slots looked really ugly to me.

Completed MJOLNIR: The minimalistic – but not boring – 9.7L Case

25mm lower fan and 70mm cooler support would make this case quite a significant amount bigger (2 additional liters in case volume), and I don't think having more clearance directly addresses any of the potential thermal and airflow issues. If you're using a hot CPU, 120mm AIO is going to be your...

@AlexTzone I agree with Quantum regarding the intake clearance. While the solution of users making their own rubber standoffs does work to increase airflow into the case, and I personally don't mind a bit of case modification, it is a definite hassle to deal with, and most people paying $350+...

Not sure which connector they're using, looks like a 3-pin JST-SM from the video but maybe Alex can answer that. For pinouts, these are addressable LEDs, so they have [+5v, Data, GND]. Asus uses [+5v, Data, Not Connected, GND]. Addressable LED's are new-ish on motherboards so I haven't been...

See my previous comment, these are standard LEDs that should work with Aura:

For reference the feet on the Ncase M1 are about 15mm in height

Switching the assembly to an upper exhaust actually makes the case a negative pressure configuration, turning every gap in the case into a dust inlet (and clogging the inside of the filter with dust). The only valid configurations for dust management here are with the fans set up in an intake...

The RGB controller they're using appears to be this one. Not sure if they're using a custom UI, maybe Alex can answer. The LEDs appear to be WS2812B addressable LEDs, which are also adaptable to standard 3 pin addressable LED headers on motherboards. If you have supported components you can...

There's 5 mm nubs on the bottom of the case to let airflow in.

Whoa what the heck I was not expecting to get backer #1... I have a similar question to Michael, not sure how the VAT deduction works. Also looks like the shipping cost is estimated about $45 (makes sense, the case is pretty hefty). Is this country dependent or flat?

How does the recruit-a-friend system work? I've definitely mentioned the case to at lot of people on twitter and discord chats, is there a referral link to send out?

Twitter post saying they had an issue with Kickstarter. Supposedly rescheduling to tomorrow if everything goes well.

Not so sure the length is an issue as much as something like an N-Case (since you have some space to route the tubing around the Mobo). I was thinking the tube stiffness/width would be more the limiting factor (some of those bends in the CAD look really tight...). I haven't built in a DAN style...

I'm not particularly set on any specific AIO at the moment, more just noticing quite a few of the ones I was looking at were slightly oversized. Figured I'd just put this out there while there's still a chance to change the design.

I was double checking some of the measurements of my parts compared the the specifications you list, and noticed the 120mm AIO width is a hard limit, having only 120mm of clearance. Looking back in the forum posts from earlier this month, I remembered you guys said that this was set in stone as...
