    Enclosure MS-Tech CI-70 (3.44 L mini-itx case)

I'm very happy with the current noise acoustics. If needed, I would go the NF-A9 route but so far so good :)

    Enclosure MS-Tech CI-70 (3.44 L mini-itx case)

Results after about 4-5 hours of work on the metal mesh (mostly folding it and cutting with a Dremel). I'm reasonably happy with the aesthetics as I have no prior experience with working sheet metal. It's not 100% finished, as I didn't take care of nuts to screw it to the case - I read...

    Enclosure MS-Tech CI-70 (3.44 L mini-itx case)

I've bought two types of replacement material for the cover to experiment with - one steel mesh, one perforated aluminium sheet. Will work with dremel to cut and will be manually bending them into the proper shape. Will update this thread if I get anywhere.

    Enclosure MS-Tech CI-70 (3.44 L mini-itx case)

I've had this case for about 10 years, love the brushed aluminium look and even got a second one from kleinanzeigen.de (as it no longer seems to be produced). Here's a generic picture (plenty of detailed pictures can be found through a web search): This case comes in two versions; the first...

    Motherboard Asrock X600TM-ITX

Here's a closeup of the mount bracket of the Thermalright heatsinkfan: idle nicely stays at 10W (edit: newer uni-t ut230b says 12.0W) after adding an Intel AX210 wifi+bt card. Will check with Asrock if there's a way to enable C6 CPU, as I'd like to reduce power consumption. Other steps to...

I don't see where you'd put an AC-DC adapter inside that case when coupled with a Deep Mini-ITX board - logically you'd need to use an external power brick. I'd try to find the highest capacity external 12V brick, either a GaN one or a conventional brick from a reputable brand like Mean Well...

    Motherboard Asrock X600TM-ITX

Settled the issue by mounting the backplate in inverted manner, and not tightening the motherboard down on the standoff in the corner of the cpu heatsink. Power consumption figures with a Ryzen 8600G, 2x 32GB Crucial DDR5 and a Hynix Platinum P41 2TB: Idle 10-11 W Load: 104 W (with stress-ng...

    Motherboard Asrock X600TM-ITX

I'm trying to assembly my built with the Thermalright AXP90-X47 and - probably like you - discovered that the provided LGA1700 backplate causes issues on top of the AM5 backplate of the motherboard. The provided long screws are just long enough to install the LGA1700 backplate on top of the...

    Motherboard Asrock X600TM-ITX

I'm wondering which PCIe lanes you lose when using a 8300G/8500G vs 8600G/8700G vs non-APU on this board. Pretty sure there's nothing on this board using the extra 8 lanes present on non-APU Ryzens (as it seems designed for APU models), but there's a significant difference between the 8300/8500G...

    Motherboard Asrock X600TM-ITX

Can you power the X600TM-ITX through USB-C PD ? Or is it obligatory to use the 19V barrel DC input?

@rokabeka could you explain why you chose a DC-DC PSU for the Asrock Rack ROMED4ID as it already supports DC to DC when powered through the ATX12V1 and ATX12V2 connectors? I would prefer to put a 2.5" drive in the spot where the PSU is placed.
