80PLUS is for the traditional AC-DC ATX power where the whole efficiency is larger than 80%. For DC-DC PSU, the efficiency is larger than 94%. Accounting for the efficiency of the AC-DC power adapter, the whole efficiency can easily exceed 80%.

The peak power heavily depends on the heatsink and it is hard to test. In our lab test, we did get more than 400W peak power output in a short duration with active fan faced to the PSU. However, we do not encourage you to use larger than 400W peak so we understate the peak power value.

Status update: The X300 along with the heatsink and bracket would be ready in 7 days.

The retail version of X300 is under mass production now and would come to market in July. We have another product named X3-ATX-300, so this time we use X300 as the model name.

Z4 is an upgrade version of our Z3. The main purpose is to increate the DC-DC converting efficiency (larger than 90%) so that less heat is generated. More comments are needed from customers so that we can continue doing optimisation on Z4.
