    DAN C4-SFX - old

I've just tried to provide balanced input with objective data points for both sides of the case width debate. If you go back, you'll find my comment indicating that I do like the new more flexible direction for the case.

Here's the one practical aspect of case thickness that I have noticed from my ownership of Ncase M1. In a Pelican 1510 carry on case (which is actually wider than their newer 1535), the 160mm Ncase M1 only fits for me by removing the foam insert in the top lid. It is still safe enough as the...

My guess is that this might ship with the new A14x15 they are working on. (sterrox slim version for 140mm fans). They are comparing its 110mm height to both heights of C14S on that card, so it should logically be accounting for some fan on there.

I really like this new direction for the case. Also, for people worried about CPU cooler height in a 140mm layout, note that Noctua is coming out with a next gen C Type cooler that is apparently 110mm in height. https://noctua.at/en/noctua-at-computex-2018

Thanks @dondan Final clarifications at my end for these... what GPU slot width is the 130mm case width of first design assuming? and are you planning for side panel filters in the classical one? (I'm assuming the only filter in the first sandwich layout will be at bottom)

@dondan Great work on the survey, I was going through it and wanted to clarity something about the second layout. From what I can gather, it is basically a further refined, tighter Ncase M1 layout, shaving off 2L from the M1's volume. I was wondering where these savings are being made? Is it...

Production FormD T1 Classic (READ FIRST POST)

Yeah, I had the same thought as you earlier about using NJ450 on the mobo side with tempered glass so was already curious about that. I guess an alternative option might be to use SF750 to improve efficiency as much as possible.

    Isn't the NJ450 SFX-L? Would a 120mm rad + 25mm fan still fit under an SFX-L?

    Nanook's build log (9900K / Asrock Z390 / RTX 2080Ti)

Are those temps with the side panel closed? I'm curious because those do look promising for when I upgrade my CPU (have similar cooling setup with C14). Only difference is that with the GPU bottom intake, I have the right side fan setup as exhaust for the GPU.

This is looking like my favorite spin yet among the recent spate of larger A4 layout style designs. I like that it is meaningfully smaller than the M1 and is thin enough for easy carry on. Here's hoping for good availability during the year, and I'll likely look to get one to accompany my...

    DAN A4-SFX v4.1

This might be a completely useless question but I felt it worth asking from people who already have builds in the A4. Is there any value to having the 120mm bracket mounts also present on the left side of the GPU side? This is to enable mounting of two A12x15s on the GPU side using two of the...

I like the idea of the hard riser being less error prone, and I wonder if the C4 layout with GPU on same side as CPU will help improve thermals for the m.2 SSD's controller at the back of the motherboard. Personally, I'm not too concerned with showing off GPU in a case this small and would...
