Gamecube PC Build (2.62 Liters) (It's back yo)

Hey guys, first off I wanted to say, Afterburner, your build last posted was coming along great. I hope you figured out the gpu issue. Ross, your dreamcast build is phenomenal, and while I wasn't logged in, it hurt my soul too, knowing the lp dimms do in fact exist. Coulda used em! Finally, that...

Gamecube PC Build (2.62 Liters) (It's back yo)

Yeah that's weird. Might have posted the wrong link. It's a little hazy now but it was more like this one. Should be 4x speed, but mine only ended up being able to do 2x so far. Haven't done much fiddling about with it though, maybe there's some config changes that can fix it? Btw, nice of you...

Gamecube PC Build (2.62 Liters) (It's back yo)

Okay so I ended up finding out that power delivery off of the motherboard was sufficient for the 1050ti. The pico psu was used in some sense, however it was only the power delivery cable (the 7.4*5.0mm DC input cable) that came with it that ended up used. This cable was meant to deliver power...

Small USB header on STX board?

Hey guys, so I just ordered an gigabyte STX board (gigabyte GA-H110STX-HD3) and planned on using its internal USB 9 pin port to make IO a bit more robust. It seems though, that the port is actually much smaller than a standard 9 pin plug. I can post a picture in a little while, but for the...

    GameCube stx build?

I support this, for sure, but there are a lot of potholes to avoid. And yes, you are crazy. The good kind though. Talking from experience with an underway but very, very troublesome gamecube build, that 1080 is absolutely not possible. Most ITX graphics cards don't fit. The Gamecube's longest...

    [STALLED] Watercooled SNES!

Really awesome idea! I was wondering the same thing, about the graphics card. I'll be interested to see how you get pcie up to that expansion.

Gamecube PC Build (2.62 Liters) (It's back yo)

As it so happens, yes! Yesterday I got the graphics card working on the setup. The system fully functions! However, as a warning to any future builders attempting a graphics card on an H110S2: The BIOS does not like the pcie adapter (EXP GDC Beast v9) or graphics card. I think it gets confused...

I can't imagine why, this thing looks awful right now and isn't even inside the case. Case is pictured, though again, nothing goes in the case until it works. Regardless, the GC build as of 11/16/17:

Gamecube PC Build (2.62 Liters) (It's back yo)

As it so happens, I just got some of the final adapters for the build. Posting pics in a second. We're seeing the guts of the thing outside of the case, but so far the measurements are sound and everything will fit, assuming everything works. The m.2 to PCIE x4 adapter didn't end up working or...

Gamecube PC Build (2.62 Liters) (It's back yo)

That is correct, I'm running the G4560 with the expectation that airflow is not great in this plastic box. However, should it avoid throttling I may consider grabbing a i7 7700 (or similar) somewhere along the line (Alongside a Vega Nano, the hype is real!). That Guy B's photos worked when he...

Gamecube PC Build (2.62 Liters) (It's back yo)

Oh of course, while I have acquired a GC case for the build I haven't started assembling the system inside it yet. The system will fully operable before being thrown in the case. My assumption at the moment is that the board is defective, agreed, though I'm sure you guys know better than I do.
