    CPU 5800x3D

Interesting... It definitely works on the B550-I at least, and I know I've seen it work on other Asus boards too, but this is the first time I've seen it not work on one... Just curious, what BIOS version are you running? As for Curve Optimizer, it's not done in BIOS. Use the PBO2 Tuner tool...

    Advice Sliger SM560 or SM620 for 5800X3D

Yeah. SM560 and S620 are both solid cases with their own pros and cons, and either will serve you well. Go with whichever you'd prefer :) I just wanted to throw in my personal experience to confirm that the SM560 with L9a can in fact handle the 5800X3D with a bit of PBO or/and CO via PBO2 Tuner.

    Advice Sliger SM560 or SM620 for 5800X3D

L9a with a fan duct should serve you well, at worst you'll be just a few degrees warmer. I'd say go for that :) Noise on the Black Ridge is... Hm... It's not enough to bother me, but I use headphones most of the time anyways. Without it, I'm definitely noticing some sounds, a slowly pulsating...

    Advice Sliger SM560 or SM620 for 5800X3D

I'm running my 5800X3D in a Sliger SM550 under a fan-swapped Black Ridge (47mm, slightly better than L9a) using the same Asus B550-I motherboard as you, and it's doing just fine temperature-wise after a bit of tweaking the PBO settings in BIOS (possible on Asus and Gigabyte boards), so CPU...

    CPU 5800x3D

Messed a bit around with the PBO2 Tool today, results seem promising. All runs done at 120 PPT, 75 TDC and 110 EDC (the setting that provided the highest score without throttling for me) Highest without: 14,388 with a max temp of 87.6 (CCD1 at 88.5) All-core -10: 14,626 with a max temp of 85.5...

    CPU 5800x3D

Just to provide an update for this... Ended up grabbing a 5800X3D myself and have done a bit of testing. Motherboard is Asus Strix B550-I running BIOS version 2603 (Agesa 1.2.0.6b), and the CPU is cooled by a 47mm Black Ridge with a Noctua NF-A9x14 fan swap in a Sliger SM550. Setting Package...

    CPU 5800x3D

Some interesting comments I found on reddit regarding setting power limitations on it in BIOS. Supposedly no noticeable performance difference in gaming, but some in benchmarking. Anyone else able to confirm?
