Concept [UPDATE 04.30] LYNX S Series: A Cylinder Mighter on the Ground. 12.5L & 14.9L vertical case with water cooling and full-size graphics card.

No love for air cooling? What is the max cooler height? And can it be increased by placing the PSU at the bottom?

Completed MJOLNIR: The minimalistic – but not boring – 9.7L Case

Question: Glass side panels, front booster cell. Were there any thermal tests done with air cooled CPU and 3080RTX?

Completed Circle Pro - Solid Alu CNCed mini-itx case - 240mm liquid cooling

Circle Studio was working on a new case. It's progress was on a private forum that was part of their website. But now that forum is suddenly gone. If you click on the forum link, it takes you here. Anyone know what happened?

    SFF.Network Streacom Launches the DA2

Check out this poster on Reddit who created custom plexiglass top panels that can mount 120 and/or 140mm fans. (Here's hoping Noctua comes out with 140mm slim fans in 2021) He even included .DFX files so you can make them yourself.

Production Sliger SM550/560/570/580 (2 and 3 slot riser layouts, with air and liquid cooling variants)

That's what I was referring to (see my post above). A 2 SM560 with the spine moved over making it 2 Slot should gain about 20mm on the mobo side making room for the Noctua L12S or even L12 Ghost S1 Edition or even a 92MM AIO on the mobo side. I predict that it might be a top seller if they made...

Unfortunately, not a reliable place where you're sure to be able to get the V1 and not the V2. Alternatively, when swapping out the stock fan with its rounded screw heads for the Noctua, you can get flat head flush screws. It uses machine threaded screws. Not sure of the size though. But you'd...

I wondered that too. Was thinking that they could do it on the SM 560 since it's wider and then have a 2 slot version of it (spine moved over). But I don't know if doing that would result in another 15mm needed for the L12S's 70mm requirement. It should though.

Have you looked a Have you looked at the ID Cooling IS-60 (fan clip version, not v2 with screws)? You can swap out the included fan for a 120mm x 15mm Noctua Fan. Total height would be 55mm with 15mm fan.

10-15mm from what I understand and experienced. It's RPM dependent with regards to that range. The lower the RPM, the closer it can be. From what I understand about ducting, it's more about selecting/controlling airflow than dealing with turbulence. By that I mean, if you want only outside air...

I thought that as well. Especially since Tom's Hardware reports that it's 38mm thick. Narrow enough to fit in the 39.2mm 2 slot mode dimension of the T1. https://www.tomshardware.com/news/nvidia-geforce-rtx-3080-review

Stalled Winter One -- 15.6L SFF case, 3090 Support, 3-slot GPUs, dual 280mm radiators, CFD Optimized Design

Really liking the gap between the back of the GPU and the back of the PSU. Looks like >20mm. Perfect for the RTX 3080.

Did a little more digging and found a spot on JayTwoCents's review where he talks about the air coming out of the pass-through side and describes it as 'warmish.' Assuming he had his hand/finger right up to it, i'm thinking that it is much less than 60DegC. At 60DegC, we're talking hot air gun...

Perhaps we can extrapolate potential air temp from a report that the back panel behind flow through fan on NZXT H1 with RTX 3080 was >55 DegC. Link starts at the point where the reviewer speaks about it. I'm guessing that the gap on the NZXT is ~5mm. The gap on the T1 would be almost 4x...

For my best guess, I would say the air temps are going to be much lower than the fin temps. I'd imagine there would be a halo protruding from the fans representing the movement of hot air under a FLIR image if the air temp was hot enough to register or it is registering in the top shot at a temp...
