I'd like to see the case adjusted to take standard depth fans - no slim ones.

Well done! Do you own a laser cutter? How is the IO shield fitment?

If you can export as .DXF autocad 2007 compatible it would work. THANKS!

Keep in mind that ducted is much different than vented in terms of concept and performance. With a properly constructed duct, you can expect temps similar to a free air workbench (or better if you optimize airflow) since whatever you're ducting does not interface with the hot/turbulent case...

I'm not Ksliger, but I'll be running testing with a SM550 and a FE GTX 1080; both with a solid side panel and a ducted one to isolate the air path for the GPU. See my a50 review for my ducting "philosophy". IMHO this will be the best performance for the case, since it essentially removes the...

@KSliger - any chance you'll make vector files available for the SM550's acrylic window for those of us looking to customize? I saw you posted a technical drawing a few pages back, but I'm not familiar with the measurement method being used (seems kinda like ordinate, but not quite - forgive my...

Already planning out mods for this case - can you provide any insight as to how the acrylic is attached to the steel frame? Is it easily removable/replaceable?

    Geeek - A50 - Review/Buildlog/Mods

Not the way I'd go, it'll be hard to mate up the wood panels at the joints unless you have some woodworking experience, but I applaud your ambition! Good luck and keep us updated!

    Geeek - A50 - Review/Buildlog/Mods

Ponoko has a 20 dollar off coupon for new users. Using that coupon and getting 3 panels cut on their largest piece of material, it cost ~ 55 shipped. Acrylic was very similar in price as well. You could probably fit 2 side panels, the front panel, and maybe the top panel on one of their...

    Geeek - A50 - Review/Buildlog/Mods

I've spent the past month or so building, tinkering, modding, and playing with the Geeek A50 case. I had the luxury/punishment of being at home on paternity leave, so I figured this would be a good project for me to take on. I wanted to put together a mix between a review, build log, and...

Completed Lone Industries L5 - 4.6L Mini ITX

Any chance of fitting a RPS-400 inside? The width is still shorter than an 80mm fan, and the height is actually less than the 200. https://www.mouser.com/datasheet/2/260/RPS-400-SPEC-1131384.pdf

Geeek A50X Build with Custom Panels

Looks awesome! Do you have the vector files that you used for the custom panels? Would love to do something custom as well on mine.
