Just happened to come across this today, very cool project! We really love seeing how folks mod this case. I passed it along to the designer of the MC600 to have a look.
Side note, thanks for noting our name change, that warms our hearts.
Thanks for the shoutout!
It sounds like you've already picked up a system tbessie, but if you find yourself back in the market, we have a number of fanless NUC options (as well as our newly released NC100 fanned NUC system) that might suit your needs -...
I know you mentioned that you weren't interested in NUC, but the reasoning was that they weren't powerful enough. Just thought I'd offer this as a possible alternative - https://www.logicsupply.com/nuc8i7hxk.
Just to followup, I spoke with our PM team and they indicated that neither the board OP mentioned or the ASRock board are products we will be stocking unless we were to receive a volume project proposal that spec'd them in. It is nice to see more thin mini-itx options hitting the market though.
To VESA mount the 500 you'd need our VESA plate (https://www.logicsupply.com/vm-1041/) and some screws (https://www.logicsupply.com/vesask/). Our EU office serves all of Europe (and beyond). We have dedicated online stores for the Netherlands, Germany, France and the UK.
Thanks for the shout out @Jello.
Hey @RedArt, just popping in to mention that we have an EU office (located in The Netherlands) that serves Germany if you were interested in checking out the MC500 - https://www.logicsupply.com/eu-en/mc500/ or the MC600 - https://www.logicsupply.com/eu-en/mc600/.
Totally understand where you're coming from there and definitely appreciate your perspective.
This board in particular is pricey because it's brand new.
The orange definitely isn't for everyone (the finish makes it look more yellow in the picture than it really is, it's actually closer to my...
Here's the link to the wall mount brackets - https://www.logicsupply.com/mtw102/ (the ones you linked above aren't for the MC600). They just screw to the bottom of the case from the outside and the screws are included (M3x0.5mm flat-head screws). If you wanted to DIN mount it you can attache the...
Hey @Nightblade, Darek here from Logic Supply. Many of our fanless systems aren't available as barebone units because they're not designed to be opened. The thermal junction between the board and enclosure requires a level of precision that would be compromised if the lid were taken off. It may...
Thanks for the note @plyr0ne, we're definitely still planning to offer the case on its own in the near future. The full system we built from our initial production run flew out the door faster than expected so we weren't able to offer the enclosure on its own. We hope to have it available early...
That's still the plan at this point, we're just working out the final details.
