Hello!
Is the 120mm water cooler actually attached to the bottom of the plate?
Would it be possible to reorient the whole build so the 120mm exhausts air out through the top side instead of intaking air from the bottom.
1) Enough space for my to stuff cables behind the card and in front of it. Since I would only ever see the glass panel side, I didn't mind too much if the GPU side had some cabling.
Yeah! I flipped it so both fans (slim fan and fan on AIO) is exhausting heat out of the case. CPU and GPU temps...
3090 is with a performance panel. Temperatures are great. Maxes out at 70C with gaming on Metro Exodus + Ray Tracing on a ultrawide monitor. I did undervolt it to reduce power consumption.
Absolutely ecstatic to be building my boyfriend’s build. It was a bit disappointing to wait the lengthy time it took to receive the case as a kickstarter, but finally having it is great.
Quality of the case is great, wish the magnets were stronger so they don’t just pop out with the slightest...
I used the Loque riser!
Works great and I feel more comfortable folding it actually. I am seeing a 2.5% performance increase which is expected. The main reason I'm upgrading is so I can update my bios (AMD) as new fixes and stuff comes out without having to take the case apart, and use my 1030.
@VELKASE Michael Do you by any chance know the distance between the mounting screws for the riser? I'm looking into PCIE Gen 4 cables and wanna see if I can find one with a matching screw distance.
I used the SFF noir one. I wanted to buy the normal version, but they shipped me one without screws, AM4 bracket, and a used fan. 😂. SFF noir shipped it out and it arrived within 3 days.
I ran this with 2 different coolers.
CPU: Ryzen 9 5950X
GPU: Nvidia RTX 3070 FE
Case: Velka 5 Rev 2.0 (177 x 99 x 285 mm or 4.99L)
Cooler 1: Noctua L9A + Noctua A9x14 Chromax ran at 100% RPM
Cooler 2: Metalfish Z39 + Noctua A9x14 Chromax ran at 100% RPM
Cooler 1 Results: (15,410 * 13,386) /...
I am waiting for my metalfish Z39 to come, but honestly, even with a L9A, the 5950X in eco mode is still chilling at like 70C-75C when gaming so I am pretty okay. :)
Hello!
I am using a Velka 5 v2 with a 3070 (and a 5950X for reference).
GPU temperatures initially weren't very good since my cable management blocked some of the passthrough (basically there's a small amount of space between the bottom of the motherboard and PSU. GPU temperatures would max...
