Look on the bright side, the few v1 that got made are still selling for the same money as new :\

    Hi Phil from Australia here.

Welcome I'm sure that when you have the time, a post for each design would receive views and comments!

He also mentioned Q4 2024 and Q4 2025 😄 To be fair, it does seem relatively close now...

SFF.Network ASUS Launches the TUF Gaming B850I WiFi Neo Mini-ITX AM5 Motherboard

This. I have the ASRock B650 PGITX (removed the NVMe fan from the heatsink) because of this It's been fine, no issues with a 9700X, but great to have agood alternative. Having said this I'm a lot less comfortable with Asus given their RMA/support issues.

I have a separate temp sensor connected. It is cooler. Plus anecdotally, my "cave" does not get as hot during gaming sessions.

50 series is much cooler than 40 or even 30 series. I have an Asus 5080 and its cooler than my 3080ti FE in this case.

    Closed DAN Cases C4-SFX V1

Seems a fair price - but note that in law your disclaimer is useless, the sender is responsible for an item until safely delivered. If it is damaged in transit, you will need to refund the buyer and then claim compensation from the carrier.

From the SFF Reddit post 3 months ago: Given past timescales, I would not expect it in stores before the end of summer 2026 and possibly not until Christmas....

Ok Again, not in my experience with the previous version of the case, but ok. No, just that that your comments suggest that you're after a fundamentally different case than the one on offer, given it's now about to be finalised and sent to production.

Stripping what threads? If I recall, the only threads are for the motherboard standoffs. The inverted layout is far better for cooling - I tried both setups in v1. Seems like you're after a fundamentally different case - there are plenty on the market that suit your requirements.

Steel inserts? For what? Going by the v1, solid sides would compromise cooling very significantly. I dont think a "classic" layout would work as well either.

Overall design looks ok and the I/O relocation makes sense. My only reservation is room for cabling - v1 was already pretty tight, especially using a 280mm AIO and SFX-L. I'm wary that smaller means higher outlay or more complexity by requiring custom cabling.

Front I/O is in a more sensible place than v1. But I have no idea why v1 was discontinued immediately after one batch given the time it took to come up with v2...

Handy to know, I have the BeQuiet 280 unit right now, but it's not really quiet (for some reason the pump is a bit noisy), so might swap to the Liquid Freezer 3
