Stripping what threads? If I recall, the only threads are for the motherboard standoffs. The inverted layout is far better for cooling - I tried both setups in v1. Seems like you're after a fundamentally different case - there are plenty on the market that suit your requirements.

Steel inserts? For what? Going by the v1, solid sides would compromise cooling very significantly. I dont think a "classic" layout would work as well either.

Overall design looks ok and the I/O relocation makes sense. My only reservation is room for cabling - v1 was already pretty tight, especially using a 280mm AIO and SFX-L. I'm wary that smaller means higher outlay or more complexity by requiring custom cabling.

Front I/O is in a more sensible place than v1. But I have no idea why v1 was discontinued immediately after one batch given the time it took to come up with v2...

Handy to know, I have the BeQuiet 280 unit right now, but it's not really quiet (for some reason the pump is a bit noisy), so might swap to the Liquid Freezer 3

Not sure there's any reason to buy a 50 series card. Missing VROPS, same performance per watt. Melting cables. If I was in the market I'd be going 40 series or AMD depending on what games I played.

MSRP. As long as you're lucky enough to buy in the first 24 hours. After that the retailers and AIB are gonna scalp you. Not sure that AMD can do much about that.

A lot of the non-MSRP cards have better power/cooling even if the headline figures aren't much higher. It's not all about 50mhz higher boost clocks Plenty of 9070 cards about yesterday - OCUK had 500+ - but realistically, there were never going to be enough at launch due to the NVidia...

I assume 13.5l means 280 AIO compatibility will be lost (v1 was 14.7l and heavily restricted which 280 would fit). Another 6 months - which in Dan-speak is 12months minimum. What next? Another delay to wait for the 60 series nVidia card dimensions lol? Seriously, he could have sold another 2...

Nothing really given it's not likely to be cheaper or better quality. If you want a case of this size and quality there are 3-4 options at various price points now. The only real USP could be wider availability in Europe I suppose, but I wouldn't count on that given what happened with V1

Some case manufacturers might do them, maybe try a few suppliers? If not then 3D print is your friend.
