Prototype YASFF 2 - Tiny ITX Gaming Case ~8L Water Cooled

sorry for the late reply, these are the water blocks i used. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Copper-Base-Platform-Common-GPU-Water-Cooling-Block-Waterblock-Liquid-Cooler/173366509004 and i cant seem to find the file for the am4 mount, i vaguely remember measuring it up and sending it straight to...

Prototype YASFF 2 - Tiny ITX Gaming Case ~8L Water Cooled

The last 2 weeks have been busy so i've not done much in the way of progress. I have been using the system and i did a minor redesign to accommodate for the exterior casing, which ill need to re print and recut about 30% of the case. While i have been working on that i've been using the system...

Prototype YASFF 2 - Tiny ITX Gaming Case ~8L Water Cooled

So i filled it last night, and it was extremely uneventful took about 30 mins, just did it incrementally filled a bit, put plug in, rotated entire system to chase air to top, and repeated about 5 times until no air bubbles were found. Then ran the pump for 10 mins, turning the cases from time to...

Prototype YASFF 2 - Tiny ITX Gaming Case ~8L Water Cooled

This will be a large post, i've had a productive weekend, lots of progress, lots of pics. Not having a means to cut 3mm aluminium plate via CNC i had to cut this by hand (jig saw + file to clean it up) then drilled/tapped threads for the mounting hardware, im using the stock back plate. I wish...

Prototype YASFF 2 - Tiny ITX Gaming Case ~8L Water Cooled

l'll know more in a few days when some more parts and fittings show up... Im not sure how possible it will be to fill with any components out, but if thats what it takes. I'm still waiting to cut the heat plate for the GPU once that is done ill be onto hooking the loop up. I also need to work...

Prototype YASFF 2 - Tiny ITX Gaming Case ~8L Water Cooled

Yeh i agree, the fill port is in the wrong spot, i tried to put it just about anywhere else on the pump intake side, there was just no room. The trade off was that i'm going to have a hard time filling it.... but on the upside it's small enough i'll be able to just fill, rotate rotate entire...

Prototype YASFF 2 - Tiny ITX Gaming Case ~8L Water Cooled

Ah wow, i spent some time looking to see if anyone else had done similar, and there it is. The density i'm hoping to achieve has been a real struggle, and you managed to cram 2 gpus in there... no space vacant... i love it. Yes i found these... count tell you why i didnt got that way maybe price?

The fill port will be the T join off the top of the upper radiator input (more on this in next update), filling wont be a fun process, but not something i plan on doing frequently. And yes the radiator is EOL took some chasing to find it, called around a bunch of places that used to stock it...

Prototype YASFF 2 - Tiny ITX Gaming Case ~8L Water Cooled

So onto mounting a water block to the RTX2070 ITX card. This had me stumped for a bit since everything is so bunched together on the board. I made countless cutout for size testing until i landed on this. The black plate covers everything the old heat plate covered and has a hole in the centre...

Prototype YASFF 2 - Tiny ITX Gaming Case ~8L Water Cooled

Water blocks showed up yesterday, so after work i managed to quickly make an am4 mount for it. Quick paper cut test fit to make sure i cleared all the motherboard components. Using the existing backplate and screws this just relocated the holes to where the block needs them. Fitted, looks...

Prototype YASFF 2 - Tiny ITX Gaming Case ~8L Water Cooled

Public holiday afforded me a bit more time to get another revision of the skeleton done plus progress a bit more. Standing naked. Things need to be installed in order, pump and PSU first. Then motherboard can be fit. It took a while but i manage to get all the cables run, nothing overly...

Prototype YASFF 2 - Tiny ITX Gaming Case ~8L Water Cooled

So another weekend another prototype with small tweaks after the last test fit. Latest skeleton design to include hdplex psu mount at the top of the case. I've also started work on the back panel, but have not cut one just yet. I cant use any of the existing mounting holes so i have made a...

Prototype YASFF 2 - Tiny ITX Gaming Case ~8L Water Cooled

In an effort to squeeze every last millimetre of space out of this case some of you might have noticed the xtop spc60 pump is missing the standoffs + is mounted on a face that has no mounts. Here are the steps i took to rectify that. I jumped the gun here and drilled a hole before taking a...

Prototype YASFF 2 - Tiny ITX Gaming Case ~8L Water Cooled

Ive been thinking about the externals of the case a lot more in the last day or so, after constructing a prototype of the internal skeleton. Everything is very close together and will be difficult to work with so my thoughts is to keep everything exposed on the rigid skeleton to maintain as much...
