I think I know why. It was the power supply. It's either it was mounted 'upside down' so the socket is blocked by GPU or they simply forgot to put it in. All after aligning Motherboard and GPU, paste and everything. They did what I did, get the plate out instead of installing GPU and...

@yeahe-ml @monsterlabo Thanks for following up. As you can see, the top slot is blocked by the motherboard. If you have a full size Display port cable that fits under the bottom 3 slots, I am happy to make this build complete. Think you can spare DP x 1, USB x2? my email is ezreal223@gmail.com...

2 USB cables will be useful. Don’t think anyone can fit hdmi/DP cable in that area tho, unless that board has audio block removed? Cool whine starts getting annoying when there is no fan noise, is there a way to block them without compromising performance?

Built my FIRST with 1700/1070/nj520 today. Spent about 7 hours for it. The packaging and branding design are well done. Case received no damage. Now, the case. Build quality: Excellent, thick and study panel, paint and finishes are excellent. Tools: Screws can be stronger, but overall...

Can't wait to get my hands on it ! Shower thoughts of the day: Will there be a fanless quad SLI Titan V build? One case per card.

Not cheap. Probably more than $2000 yearly at basic usage. However, there is a 14 days free trial that can be play around with. I find it extremely easy to begin with. I was thinking if there is any ways to increase heat transfer from fins to air, by using wavey fins to increase surface area...

Yeahe, I was having a little adventure today of my own. Trying to do a heat transfer simulation using SimScale. Found out that it wasn't easy at all. Anyway, just wanted to know if the heatsink on the first was 3 times taller, what kind of heat can it handle? Image of a stupid design I made in...

Seems like a fair test. Parts used are the same with the original test. Noted that GPU temp is default maxed out at 83 for GTX 1080 as it will throttle back in clock speed. In summary, i7 9700k with a gtx 1080 is a no go for fully enclosed passive cooling at stock. However, with undervolting...

Looking good. If you don’t mind I am just wondering what’s the difference between v1,v2 and v3 in terms of thermal performance?
