I had troubles drilling through my GPU, after drilling through the PCB and the heat sink i tried to boot my card.... it refused to turn on, i have a feeling drilling through the heat sink meant my GPU thermal throttled and doesn't power on. If your water cooling though this shouldn't matter and...

Well that cocks things up a bit. I currently have a NZXT kraken x52, and my case is arriving very very soon. My plan was to build it and temporarily use the kraken without the top pannel on untill i could get my hands on the new aurora lt, my plan was then to gradually phase out the aio with...

Yeh, ive seen a lot of people avoiding alphacools stuff (tho still want to see how their new aurora lt 240 will turn out). If i go fully custom rather than aio and then expanding it, i was thinking the ddc route. Only problem is fitting in the pump with a magic cube (other options are available)...

Ok can someone just fact check this. As far as custom loops go your options for Pumps are the Alphacool dc-lt pump - inside either the 40 dc-lt resivour, or the lt solo pump block and the, DDC pumps inside either a Nouvolo Aquanaut pump block or a ddc top like the bitspower magic cube what...

Watercooling wise I think I'm going to go with the aurora lt solo pump block with either the st25 240 or the ek se classic 240 and 2 slim noctua fans and air cool GPU... then when @Wahaha360 releases a 17mm full core radiator ill buy 2, one for the top with 2 chromax nf-a12x25 (when their...

I haven't been keeping up with your adventures recently. Are you currently using the TX 240 with two A12x25s? What exactly is your loop right now? im assuming the one radiator and 3 fans?

@Wahaha360 you guys are really throwing a spanner in my plans, was going to just get the new aurora lt 240 when it comes out, then decided to get the aurora lt solo pump block and use and EK SE Classic, and now your talking about a custom radiator XD. I've got 3 months until my case arrives so...

EK SE Classic or XSPC TX240 Sorry in advance (i know its repeated a lot) But out of these two radiator which is the best when considering fitment, thermals and noise EK SE Classic : I understand that the EK SE classic is the exact clearance above mobo so their could be fitment issue...

Ok so when it comes to partners cards, having a hole in the back plate should not negatively impact thermals as if that hole is blocked due to the psu, the card will just exhaust normally like normal cards, HOWEVER this is not the same for the reference, for the reference card the fin stack...

i am both amazed and horrified at the same time. You said 3-4 degree difference from passive radiator to radiator with fans, what is the difference between JUST the TX240 and then the TX240 plus the 2nd radiator with fans? It seems like an awfull amount of effort for a few degrees.
