Lol, I wouldn't say it was a complete waste of time. You get some experience and have a thing you can use elsewhere if needed. But yeah, you can definitely run the board right off of 12v without issue. My A300 with the 4750G runs without issue off a 300w Flex PSU. As far as I know, the X300...

    Hi From ZS Cases

Nice, love to see some more SFF options out there. Looks like the site might be this: https://zscases.com/ as it was recently registered and is only 15 days old.

Add me to the list of satisfied customers. I got mine in the mail yesterday. Exterior paint is a nice matte finish and the interior components are identical to my GEEEK version. The top and bottom shell were obviously painted at separate times as the finish is slightly different, but nothing I'd...

    "SFF" Keyboards

These aren't stock black ALPS and shouldn't really be considered the same as them. They are modded quite a bit to make them have a much harder tactile bump and lubed to keep everything feeling smooth. I've got a ALPS64 with lubed Salmons that I find alright, but after using my modded blacks with...

    "SFF" Keyboards

I'm running lubed dampened Healios V2 switches right now. I actually didn't like linear switches and only got these because I wanted to mess with dampened switches. When I got them I was disappointed in the feel and the spring noise they made so I spent a few hours (more like two nights) lubing...

Yeah, it seems to be more of a gambling type of mentality. No matter how terrible the odds are, people still pay in to it with the hope that it'll pay off at some point. It's not unusual for people to have hope even when the odds are against it, and especially when they have no other option. It...

    "SFF" Keyboards

Even if they are plate mounted I would do the band-aid mod. Clip, bandaid, and if they have any wiggle in the plate itself I would wrap a small piece of bandaid on the edge of the plate where the stab comes in contact to stop it from moving around. IMO it's worth it for the little extra work to...

He didn't. He tried it and it didn't work so he switched to a 2400g.

I ended up taking the GDC out of the case so it's just a small PCB attached the PCIe slot of the GPU. This is definitely a weird little build to try to calculate the full volume.

So this isn't listed on his site, is there a thread on it here? I'd be interested in going down that road instead of modding a stock one. Any idea how to order one from Velkase?

If anyone was interested, here are the 4750G Cinebench scores while inside the PSU PC.

Oh, I think I forgot to mention in here, I managed to snag a 4750G and stuck it in there. So now I've got an 8c/16t CPU in this tiny PSU. The thermals are actually better than with the 3400G too. I also ended up upgrading the RAM from the lowly 2x8gb of 2400mhz up to 2x16gb 3200mhz CL16 to fit...

I think the main reason for having the original stacked design like I had it was that I already had the L9a laying around and with the original 3400G in there I didn't need crazy cooling. It was easy enough to throw in there, and I did run some tests with and without the A9x14 fan on the L9a...

I've got mine watercooled but it's in a slightly different case. With only 46mm of clearance you run in to a few issues. The smallest available block that I could find was actually a pump/block combo coming in at 28mm tall (side exit ports are a must). The smallest radiator I could find was...
