Another inquiry: The size and weight of the S4M is awesome but the portability does me no good if I also have to lug a huge monitor around. That's the main reason I'm considering a laptop over a mini. I know about gechic but their monitors are ridiculously expensive. Are there any other options...

That seems like a bit of an exaggeration but I’ll take your word for it. What would be my next best bet for a powerful cpu to pair with a 1080? Any chance Intel will fix the cooling issue with their next releases?
