thanks for explaining. the takeaway for me is that the current/past model operates on unsustainable margins, and there isn't enough demand to increase production and thus increase margin.
to add onto what others have said, I agree that the marketing seems to be a weak point. if I were just...
I could totally be missing some insight here, but what is preventing production to continue as it's been doing? seems like there were somewhat consistent cycles where batches were regularly produced and sold, albeit in low quantities
it also doesn't feel right to assume they cost $1500-2000...
3700X, hovering 76-77C after 15m on Small FTT
1070, 75C GPU after 10m on FurMark
Ran with the system fans on a Normal fan curve since I haven't found anything to sync fans with GPU temp. with a maxed curve GPU could be lower, CPU possibly as well. noise levels are expected for Noctua, silent...
some updates from last time. Turns out you can barely fit a 25mm fan with the 645lt, but only on the mobo side since the AC-DC unit is too tall. Also cleaned up with some custom cables, LED, and masked the PSU
build pics:
without half of the PSU bracket, cable management becomes stuffing everything behind the GPU/DC-DC unit so I tried my best to put them out of sight. The SSD cage cables are meant for Corsair PSUs so requires re-pinning for HDPlex. I think custom cables would be really satisfying...
ah gotcha. It's totally fine if development stops, and is expected once you decide the case is complete, but I just wasn't sure. Is there any teaser about what else is in store?
also, I'm using a 92mm 645lt rad which opened up a bunch of tubing placements, but had the same thought as...
Not sure what happened to the talks of supporting other PSU form factors or if development has stopped entirely, so decided to have a go at an HDPlex mod.
Activity here seems to have slowed down.. @CircleTect any updates on the next batch?
Jumped on the Ghost S1 bandwagon since they launched on Amazon, but this is still my top pick and already had some parts lined up for it so I don't mind returning.
For people who own the case, the compatibility sheet says max rad is 278x122x30mm and that square corners would clash. Is the PSU cage the reason for the 30mm height? It looks like a little more and it'll hit the mobo but shaving down the PSU cage should buy some mm right?
Also, what is the...
Was there a decision about the alternative PSU support, and possibly a timeline?
Thinking about making this my first SFF build and trying to decide if I should wait it out or just jump on one of the upcoming batches and attempt a mod
