Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Thank you! I'm glad it turned out as well as it did. As for the feet, I was able to get them to level out a little by tightening them down more. With all the added weight at least the foot that will be facing me looks more or less level. The more problematic one is still a little angled, but...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Finished my Cerberus-X build today! ^_^ First time building in such a small case and it was a hell of a time lol. Even a small mistake can mean a lot of rework. In the end though, I absolutely love how this all turned out.

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

I found I can mitigate it somewhat by lightly bending the feet in the correct direction and then tightening them down. One of the feet is much better, but the other is still angled a bit. It's not a big deal, but I'm a bit obsessive compulsive so I can't help but notice it. The worse of the two...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

I received my Cerberus-X today. I noticed that the back feet don't appear to sit flush with the desk. If you look at them at eye level they both appear to be at a slight angle with a millimeter or so between the highest point of the black rubber pad and the desk. Is that normal? The front feet...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

I see a lot of people running AIO's in the Cerberus with the radiator in the bottom. I was always under the impression that this was a bad idea as it would cause air bubbles to collect in the pump resulting in pump noise and possible damage to the pump. Is this not actually the case? With how...

Thank you for sharing. That would certainly explain the wait. Very kind of them to do a special run just for us.

Production Sliger SM550/560/570/580 (2 and 3 slot riser layouts, with air and liquid cooling variants)

I ordered a Cerberus-X, and from what Ksliger has said earlier in the thread those shouldn't be impacted as heavily by the current workload/delays. Hopefully I'll get a tracking number soon. The case is the last thing I need for my next build and my 3900X and 2080 Ti are just sitting there...

Jeez, and here I was concerned about not having heard anything in a week lol. Guess I've got some waiting to do.

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Somewhere on the forums somebody posted a picture of a Cerberus-X with two 280mm radiators AND a 120mm radiator on the side vents. It's definitely possible, but it can depend on your motherboard. With some boards it maybe necessary for you to use extensions or angular adapters for certain things...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

What's the current lead time on Cerberus-X orders? I haven't heard anything in about a week after placing my order.

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

As far as issues go, there isn't too many things to worry about with the Cerberus cases as their compatibility level is huge. The only real concern that I have is that they have very limited exhaust, so you should do everything you can to maximize exhaust options. If you get the handle for the...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

As the others have pointed out, MATX is becoming a dead form factor. The industry has simply stopped caring about it. You may be better off going with the Cerberus-X rather than the Cerberus. It's only about 1.5 liters larger, but accommodates up to E-ATX motherboards, though ATX is recommended...

With a top down air cooler exhaust works exceptionally well in these cases because the direction of the airflow is pulling air in through the sides and directly into the cpu cooler. However, with an AIO by running the fans in exhaust what you're doing is pulling the hot air from the GPU and PSU...

Well at least they're gonna get rid of a couple carmine red panels because of me ;). Just ordered my Cerberus X and my 3900X should be showing up on Tuesday.
