Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

I decided to go with the Slate. Just pulled the trigger. Now I'll have a few tops to swap around for different looks :) I'll mount the slate top on the green Cerberus and the black top on the slate X. -hopefully I'll get all the screws this time :p

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

I have a green Cerberus case for my Threadripper Plex server and now I'm looking for a X for my Ryzen 1700. I'm just so torn between white and slate. Anyone who has seen both in person can give me their insight?

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Why wait.. build two. That's my plan. I want to get a gun metal Cerberus X for my day-to-day box to replace my itx 1700. This mATX build is only for Plex, VMs and few dockers.

I didn't. The second power connector is optional on some boards and really comes into play if you plan on overclocking -I'm not- (drawing huge power). I'm also using a low powered Quadro 1200k for a GPU so there isn't much stress on the 600W PS.

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

I just got the green case with the black top. I'm loving it but I experienced the "missing screws" issue like some others in this post. I'm looking to get an X model as well for my threadripper build. I was tempted to grab that new ASRock MATX x399 board for my regular Cerberus case but I...
