Well, ... Server / Rack boards in general are not designed for overclocking :) And frankly, with the Ryzen 2 / 3 and the dynamic boosting it does, in general you gain little from overclocking because it technically over clocks itself ( PPT ). A other board to talk about doing a form of IPMI...

Anybody try the A300 with a Ryzen 1000/2000 series CPU? This can make a lovely little 6/8 core ( AMD 1700, 2600 are 65W ) Nas/VM station. A shame that they do not sell the MB separately. You can only order the MB directly from Asia, in 300 lots... The problem is, that the price was 90 dollar...

The J5005 NUC is actually a better comparison for the low end, instead of the 7100u. NUC7PJYH = 172 dollars (newegg). Little bit slower single core, faster multi core performance. Also a bit surprised there is still no AMD Deskmini released. Been waiting for that for ages. AMD Deskmini + AMD...

What is your combination of keyboard and display? Do you not run into issues battery powering your Nuc and no power on your display ( or is it one of those from external Asus screens with a powered usb c ).
