I am also trying to find a display exactly like the one you are looking + 15.6 inch and if this is an option touch screen, so I looked at these

So, could anyone (or has anyone already) with a similar or bigger height case probably test a similar scenario which is :
a l9i (or some other cooler) with its fan only
VS the same with a slim (15mm) fan on top of it
VS the cooler without a fan and a thick (ideally Noctua NF-A12x25) on top ??
So, if I get it well, this was a better choice than l9i with the stock fan or even l9i with stock fan + a slim fan on top ?? Or the choice was made just by the fact that those components were just laying around?
Great build guys!! I am trying to make an almost identical system.
What kind of fan is that on the top of the case and what kind of cooling solution have you used for the cpu?
So, it is time to make my own tiny built. Having looked at itx cases I am between to Realan cases with 34 and 54 (probably + 10mm in each case, not sure wet) of space for the cooler.
After searching, the best cooling options seems to be the classic noctua NH-L9i or a cooltek lp-53 with noctua's...
While I have found and read the documentation for the mini itx facton I'm not sure if I have designed the rear I/O cut the right way so I would like someone to help with that if possible by cheking the dimensions in my sketch
I'm currently trying to build a mini itx case but I'm very confused with the dimensions. All of them :P I can't figure out how much the clearence under the motherboard should be (and so the dimension of the motherboard stands) the dimension of the i/o shield, the distance of the motherboard...
