    Completed Custom SFF/mITX Aluminum Case

Can't wait to get this case and see your hard work in person. I'll have to break out my old 980 for my build log to test how effective the full coverage venting is. I would imagine it to be much better than most of the other heat trapping cases on the market. What color combinations did you guys...

    Completed Custom SFF/mITX Aluminum Case

I really love this case. For such a simple layout you have really over-engineered the design. You did good providing full venting coverage, especially in the front and bottom. Features like the big screws, psu rubber bumper, movable pci slot, modular back plate, and inverted or normal...

    Stalled Custom_MOD MINI

Would it be possible to special order a Mini rev4 at 102x207x190 for use with g-unique 300w internal. I prefer the Mini styling over the Flex. Thanks

    Production cases FX 4.2L / FX 4.9L by Custom_MOD

Yeah this has to be in works! With hdplex 300w or guryhwa's upcoming dc psu would be so perfect. Can either be mounted vertically under gpu or flat like flex-atx.

Any pictures/renders of the vertical stand? I would prefer to keep the case vertical if purchased. Allthough, orienting the case flat under a monitor stand might be the best for sff.

    Flat mounted GPU?

You could also make a simple bracket for the pcie extension. Most extensions that use short pcbs for the gpu side have holes for screws. Additionally you could put a wide screw at the fork on the end of the pcie bracket for more strength

Here's an idea : <5L cube (Flex ATX, Multiple SSDs, 120mm case fan)

That's a very unique layout you designed, but i don't really like that a lot of the volume is stored in the width. Generally i prefer the case to be stacked vertically for less two dimensional volume (length x width). I definitely prefer the layout in your profile picture. It would be possible...

Pattern B would be a winner if the triangles alternated, just the the 10xx FE cards: http://images.bit-tech.net/content_images/2016/07/nvidia-gtx-1060-review/1060fe-6b.jpg Anyway, i vote for Design A

Other options include parkerizing/black oxide, it is a bit simpler than anodizing but is no more durable. Also bead/sand blasting is an option for a silver or grey finish and is likely to be cheaper than the black alternatives. There is also cerakote, which is a baked ceramic coating and is very...

Any thoughts on baked powdercoating as a finish? It's more scratch resistant than anodizing as its a much thicker coating and is much better looking as well.

    CPU CPU selection question

With you on that one. I was able to take my 4790k down to 55 watts by underclocking to 3.6ghz with .93volts. I lost 10% performance, but also lost 50% max wattage at the same time.

GPU underclocking and HD Plex 250?

I use a kill-a-watt p4460 to see system wattage. Also, i have my 4790k underclocked and undervolted. The stock voltage for 4790k is 1.0875v at 4.0ghz and it actually uses closer to 110watts. I'm using .93volts at 3.6ghz currently. My cpu is maxing out at around 55w according to hwinfo, and...
