Interesting renders. I did consider the A4-H2O but didn't want to have to use a riser. The side IO is nice, though not enough to tempt me out of my v1. The solid panel looks nice, and I like all the color options.

This is what I did. Slightly different setup, I have 2x140mm slim intakes on top, 140mm exhaust on the side, SS135 cooler with stock 120mm, and slim 92mm rear (wasn't sure if a 25mm would fit, so I went with slim. A 25mm should fit no problem). I have the 140mm intakes together on a Y, and the...

I have the v6.1. And I do on occasion use the A, mostly if I'm reinstalling an OS. But since my M1 is under my desk, not on it, I have other port tools to bring audio and USB to more practical places. Yes, I realize this isn't a common situation, and I know it adds cost etc, but for me both of...

I do understand it, I just hated the USB-A cable in my M1. I had to get a right angle adapter for it, and it's so goddamn stiff, and the cable is so long. It's just frustrating to have to deal with in a case that tightly packed. The only issue I have with the C4's C-only front is my yubikey...

Having an M1 and the C4, I have to say, not needing to run the USB 3.0 cable to the front is SO nice. I do wish there were two USB-C, but I totally understand not adding A. It's a little annoying for sure, but this is how it's going to be in the future and I don't really mind. Much like Apple...

A quick perusal of the SFF reddit shows almost everyone using a single fan on the D12L. I did add a slim 92mm fan with my SS135; it's not the best noise so I turned it down to maybe 10-15%, but honestly I have no idea if that really helps. I did see someone with a thicker 92mm fan, so that...

Why not just run it with one fan? I doubt the second fan adds that much cooling capacity. I have the SS135 since it was a ton cheaper than the D12L, and it's a single fan cooler (though you can add another). It fits just fine over my Flare RAM and IO shroud on my Asrock B650 board.

That's a nice kit. I would have gone with that if I didn't end up with this one for free.

I think it looks super clean with top IO, but for those who need it, the GPU length is worth it. Packing more into this case requires it.

I'd prefer to see a combo audio/mic port rather than the dual ports. I also cringe a little at knowing there's going to have to be a GIANT USB 3.0 cable to power this. I honestly do love the single USB-C on the V1, it's just so much easier to cable. I hated having to muck with the USB 3.0 on my...

Damn, the only thing I don't love about my V1 is that I don't have an easily accessible USB-A port for a yubikey. I have one attached to my desk that also does audio, so it's not the worst, but it would have been nice. Plus, cats can't accidentally step on power buttons if they're front-mounted...

I really prefer the more silver, so I like B more. Maybe that's because it's more like the V1, and I think this will help alleviate some of the issues. I know that if A were the only next option, I'd be looking for another case. The design of A just doesn't grab me, and it doesn't feel like V2...

Holy shit, 3x MSRP? I don't remember exactly what MSRP was since shipping to the USA was a good chunk, but yikes.

I can't speak to the process of it, but I'm not sure why it would be so hard to just order another shipping case worth of v1 and distribute to dealers. It seems like the demand is there, between what I see here and on reddit, but I don't know how many cases it takes to break even on another...

Pretty sure you're correct. Lian Li has done manufacturing for NCase as well, I think for the entire lifetime of the M1. They must have a little boutique line that they rent out. I would suspect that you do have to book that line in advance, with a minimum number of units, so I can understand...
