    DAN A4-SFX v4.1

There is some exciting news on Tom's Hardware today that AMD will have a 65W, 12-core Ryzen 9 3900 coming soon. For the DAN case, I think a 65W part is essential — the AMD Ryzen 3000 parts have a boost TDP up to only 88 watts.

I'd like to chime in and add my expression of interest in an A4-V4 case in a white finish.

Please consider the space occupied by that drive cage. There is a lot of space there — instead of a bracket accommodating just one 15mm drive inside the cage, with a second 15mm drive clinging to the top, give a try to a double-decker cage which holds two 15mm drives and an optional third drive...

Cooling CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-C14S/i9-9900K is AMAZING

Fair enough, but I should warn you that I'm not an overclocker or benchmarker and haven't been digging around in the BIOS for marginal improvements. The motherboard is an AsRock Z390 Phantom Gaming ITX/AC and I put it in a Thermaltake V1 which has zero other fans — fanless power supply, front...

Cooling CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-C14S/i9-9900K is AMAZING

Not a lot to report here, but for anyone planning an i9-9900K build whose case can accommodate a Noctua NH-C14S, do it! I've got a rig transcoding video files from h.264 to h.265 HEVC and this cooler keeps all cores manageably cool (averaging about 160° Fahrenheit across eight cores at over 93%...

The bottom 2.5" drive maximum height is less than 15mm.

Instead, why not consider that the V4 case can accommodate the two 15mm 2.5" drives you promised to those of us who bought the V3? There's enough room in the case, assuming the bracket is the right size. Update the bracket, not the website.

That's what we're discussing with the talk about "A4 XL". The difference between 25mm and 15mm is a full centimeter (duh), and that's kind of a significant delta. For my money, we'll already be adding quite a bit of thickness if the case accommodates a Noctua NH-L12S.

The bottom 2.5" drive maximum height is less than 15mm.

Yes, this is my discovery this week as well, alas. I bought with the ambition to stuff two 15mm drives into the case.

    DAN A4-SFX v4.1

I, too, would love to be able to mount a Noctua NH-L12S in a case like the DAN A4 so I would be hotly interested in an XL version of the A4. I just finished my first build and love the case. My only issues are the limited height for CPU cooler and the difficulty adding much storage. If we're...

    DAN A4-SFX v4.1

If you make a 15mm HDD bracket, please consider that there is actually room for up to three (3) 15mm HDDs in the A4. Perhaps change the base bracket to accommodate two 15mm HDDs, and sell an optional bracket to accommodate three. I would gladly buy that bracket. My A4 v3 arrived today and I am...
