An alternative is asus are releasing their PN50 in ~1 month, which has the 4000 series laptop chips for reasonable prices (~£320 for r5 4500u) and intel ax200 wifi 6 through Amazon so also has good support and quick shipping
I am concerned about the chipset heat from all of these thin mini itx designs. TechTablets on youtube tested a barebones using one of these motherboards, and like mine it's chipset ran very hot and it always consumed 20w+ at idle
My one worked straight away, but my lvds port never worked. Also, the motherboard you linked and pictured isn't the jubo one. The jubo one has the ram and chipset position swapped compared to what you pictured...
Thank you for the suggestion. The only setting in the bios which seemed relevent was I can force it to use the igpu (which it should anyway because its a ryzen apu) and that didnt seem to make any difference
I have a jubo am4 thin mini itx mobo from https://smallformfactor.net/forum/threads/am4-thin-itx-motherboards-they-do-exist.10304/ which has a 30 pin LVDS output. I have bought an adaptor board to go to 30 pin eDP, and an AU Optronics B140HAN01.1. No display is outputted, and using a volt meter...
I was wrong on that, jubo lists the pin out a stupid way around. However, my lvds port doesn't seem to be working at all (no voltage). Anyone had any experience with lvds? Does it require a screen before it provides voltage?
So apparently LVDS isnt actually a standard. The jubo and asrock motherboards both come with a lvds port with pins 1, 2 and 3 as vcc, while every lvds to edp board appears to have vcc, gnd, gnd as pins 1, 2 and 3. Short of desoldering and resoldering every connection in the cable, anyone got any...
Thanks, I found an adaptor I had from 5.5x2.5 which fitted. I am using a 2200g, 16gb 3000mhz gskill ram.
Things I've noticed:
Turbo mode on cpu disabled by default
C6 mode disabled by default
Can set igpu frame buffer as high as you want (up to 16gb for me (set to 4gb)).
No settings in bios to...

In terms of cooling, if you have space to the side of the mobo you could use the intel thermal solution for thin mini itx, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/173226323698 . Might be useful for the person trying to make the tablet, as If i can find a version of this...
