When I was looking for vlps, because I wanted to use the Black Ridge in same fashion, the fastest I could find were 2666. With ryzen processor, they work better with 3000 and up, so gave up on vlps.

Will an a9x25 work better than an a9x14 under the psu?

Did you configure the two case fans on the bottom to exhaust or intake? I believe I read that with air cooler the fans worked better as exhausts and with the 645LT it was better as intakes.

The only mobo that supports PCI-E Gen 4 are the X570 and Gigabyte x570 ITX is the only mobo with the Retimer? Are there any updates to support Gen 4 on B450 itx mobo? Will any graphics card work with PCI-E Gen 4?

I don't know if you are aware, when using the Black Ridge you will need low profile rams, and if you decide to use a noctua 120mm fan on the Black Ridge, you'll need very low profile rams. Just in case you didn't know.

I don't know if you have the same problem I did, I replaced the mobo, and the psu, but it still didn't boot up, felt exactly like the way you described. So I sat there and stared the at the mobo, thinking what the heck is going. This was my first build, so you probably didn't make the same...

Thanks for the information. I ordered a set of unsleeved custom cables like LoserCard used in his build, hoping for better air flow compared to the sleeved version. BTW, great job on the build!!!!

I don't believe there is a ssd mount on top, I know there's one in the front and below the psu if you were not using the asetek. Actually you can fit two under the psu if air cooled.
