PCWorld Covers Frore Systems’ Solid State Active Cooling

I saw this and instantly came here. This should allow for awesome silent+powerful+small builds in the future at the expense some added power consumption.

    Other What's on Taobao

The cable in post above looks like one from this post/listing: https://smallformfactor.net/forum/threads/whats-on-taobao.885/post-168184 I have purchased a similar cable myself and it was good, however I am not entirely sure if it was the same listing as I bought a pigtail.

    What brought me to sff

I saw reviews on Sentry 2.0 and wanted to buy that case and build an SFF computer for myself. Then I preordered the case and realized that I will have to wait ~9 months until I can actually build in it, but I could really use a desktop computer earlier than that. I then decided I would make a...

Concept "All in one" 3 monitor stream setup

Just a quick question - wouldn't the graphics cards USB-C port be able to support multiple monitors much like a laptops USB-C port? (with the use of a small USB hub or so)

Discussion Short Antenna Comparison with Benchmarks

Cool stuff, one more step that would allow me to clear up the mess of wires. BTW the link for 30mm is a bit broken. I tried searching aliexpress for similar stuff but only found one 30mm antenna with the wrong connector. Does anybody know where I can get this sent to Europe?

Custom Mini PC brickless with GTX 1050 Ti

Are you sure it is going to be easier with a 1050ti instead of another card? Wouldn't the card have power issues when a riser is used? Do you have a solution for this?

Concept "All in one" 3 monitor stream setup

@Teebs depending on your mobo and chipset, you can enable integrated graphics in tandem (assuming your GPU doesn't have USB-C). For example on Asrock Intel motherboards this is called IGPU Multi-Monitor. With this feature it is possible to utilize the motherboards video output ports (such as...

    Discussion Removing HDD stickers

And for situations when alcohol nor Fairy cut it, you can always try baby oil soap, this thing get's rid of sticker-glue real well. I bought some kitchenware 2 years ago and until recently it still had glue residue despite countless times of washing up. Baby oil soap got rid of it in 2 minutes.

Discussion What is this thing from my zaber sentry 2.0?

Could it be a support/spacer for the PCIe extension at GPU end? The extension screws into the case/bracket, but it probably has this thing sandwitched.

Power Supply Where to get the ENP 7660B in Europe

As I said reasonably quiet. I don't really hear it but then I also don't put much load on the PSU. I don't know enough hardware to make any comparison.

Power Supply Where to get the ENP 7660B in Europe

Bought mine in October 2019 here https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32994352364.html as it was the best I could find. Got it in 2 weeks (of course those were different times). Have had no problems since, been using it intermittently (I've put it through a lot of cable mushing), and it has been...

    Part Flexible PCIe risers

Personally it is clear that these ADT branded risers are all fantastic. But what about configurations where the 16x cable is too big? Where can I buy a riser like in this video (one that uses flexible cables and a PCB with connectors)

How does everyone deal with storage?

Went for a compromise between price and capacity: 500GB 970evo (win+programs+folders) and 1TB 660p (games+video). In a perfect world would have gotten double the capacity. I also have a 3.5" slot for future provisions (IDK if I will go for a 4TB 3.5" drive or SSD + HDD 2.5" combo).

    Show your new toys Topic

@Valantar Yes, it could be that yours is different, or it could be that your phone can utilize a 5V3A mode. I posted because I was disappointed since my phone (S9+) charges significantly slower on 5V (at 1.7A-2A) than on 9V (1.7A). BTW you can pick up one of those USB power meter things quite...
