Zotac Launches PCIe SSD

CES 2016: ZOTAC unveiled its upcoming premium PCIe SSD. Designed for high performance, with sequential transfer rates around 2 GB/s, the drive is based on a Phison processor, combined with Toshiba 10 nm MLC NAND flash memory. The half-height add-on card features an integrated heatspreader, with a back-plate. The PCIe x4 Gen 3 card is bootable.   Thoughts? Discuss them in the forum.

Samsung to release 4TB 850-series drives and 1TB 950 Pro this year

Sean Webster from The SSD Review is in Las Vegas for Storage Visions 2016 and had a moment to check in with Samsung on their plans for 2016. According to his report, Samsung plans to make use of their high-density 48-layer V-NAND to launch 4TB versions of both the 850 EVO and 850 Pro later this year, with the former expected by end of Q2 and the latter sometime Q3. AMD reveals some details of Polaris, their next GPU architecture

AMD is getting some pre-CES buzz going with light details of their upcoming GPU architecture, Polaris. Socket AM4 to Support Excavator and Zen

With the infrequent leaks about AMD’s upcoming Zen architecture, we know very little of the platform. Corsair Releases the Hydro Series H5

Corsair has launched the Hydro Series H5 SFF cooler. This is a closed loop cooler directly aimed at the SFF market, and Corsair claims it can cool 150w of heat quietly and efficiently. As we know all too well, cooling in SFF builds can be somewhat of a challenge.
