Details of the new ECS mini ITX gaming motherboard have begun to surface. Their outgoing model, the H55H-I, was voted “Best for Mini-ITX Gaming” by Tom’s Hardware and offered great performance at rock bottom pricing. A winning combination that ECS is sure to carry over to the new H67H2-I.
ECS recently showed off the successor to the H55H-I at an event in the Philippines, along with a few other H67 and P67 motherboards. The H67H2-I offers support for the upcoming LGA1155 socket CPU’s and like its predecessor, utilizes two full-size 240-pin DDR3 memory slots.
The H67H2-I supports two each of SATA 2.0 and 3.0, the latter allowing transfer speed up to 6 Gbps. The board also appears to offer two headers for USB 2.0 and one for USB 3.0. Along with the rear panel connectors, the H67H2-I will offer plenty of connectivity for your USB devices.
No WiFi has been included, which is not unusual for mini-ITX, but may push buyers to other brands. ECS has included VGA support for the H67H2-I along with HDMI and DVI connections.
We will keep you up to date on the official specs for the H67H2-I as they become available.
