Hi josh. Is the Skyreach S4's riser that is included with the case a gen 3 for the latest 3000 series graphics cards?

If you check the Quickstart Guide you will find this reference. It's gen 3, but newer boards and graphic cards support already gen 4.
I recently upgraded my now 5-year-old setup. I had a 2060super and wanted to put the MSI low profile 4060. 20 percent more performance and about 70 watts less power needed. HOWEVER, I learned that the riser cable that comes with the original kit does not play nice with the 4060. No matter what PCIE Gen Bios settings I tried it was a no-go. I went and got this rizer and now everything works perfectly. I covered the rizer cable with tape where it presses up against the housing for added protection. Another side benefit is that with how my system is configured I can now put the fan on the power supply so it should run even cooler.
