More Images of Gigabyte AM4 Boards Leaked

The first few images we saw of the non-OEM, Gigabyte board, were not much other than teasers. Heavily cropped sections of board was all that we saw. Now, full shots of the boards have been leaked! OEM AM4 Motherboard Makes an Appearance

In the ongoing, agonising, wait for Zen, Bristol Ridge will be an appetiser. AMD Shipping Bristol Ridge APUs

AMD has announced that it is shipping its seventh generation of accelerated processing units (APUs), codenamed Bristol Ridge, ahead of schedule, with HP confirming that its Envy x360 convertible laptop will feature the parts. No word on whether or not these include the AM4 parts. AMD’s AM4 – A Unified Socket

At CES 2016, AMD has talked a little bit more about its upcoming Zen architecture processors. Specifically, the company revealed the socket that will be used and announced the code names of the new CPUs and APUs. We posted a leak about these names and some specs here. Socket AM4 to Support Excavator and Zen

With the infrequent leaks about AMD’s upcoming Zen architecture, we know very little of the platform. However, with a few tech documents found by benchlife.info, we may be getting to see the early hints as to what AM4 means as a platform.
