That was also the problem I had: before the iPhone, we were accustomed to small devices having small buttons, period. Than iOS (or PhoneOS as it was called back then) came along and showed that you could have a touch screen without a pen or the use of unreasonable amount of pressure to register movements, along with an interface that didn't try to mimick Windows 3.1. It spoiled us.


And indeed today we have Android Auto and Apple CarPlay that basically bring the Car PC experience with us without requiring a community-sourced hardware and software solution that isn't able to overcome some (or many) obstacles. But we're not there yet, for the moment it still requires a cable to your phone, but wireless is coming in 2016. And then we'll finally be at the point we wished we were 10 years ago.
