hi, so my build is almost complete and for now im using the stock inter box cooler BUT I'm using the one of my 4th gen i7 since it has a copper base and the 8th gen stok coolerr doesnt. it was hitting 100 degree celcius when gaming even with an 0.095 undervolt so I disabled the turbo boosting for now. reason I still dont have a better cpu cooler is that at first I was waiting for the back ridge by dan to release but im still open for other moore imminent options like the nhl9i or the c7 cu with a noctua fan on it, any other suggestions? the goal is to get the best thermals obviously, the cooler must be under 48mm tall and im using the h370-i mobo from asus which has a io cover and might restrick cpu coolers, if needed i'll mod it of remove it but would like to keep it on. thanks

In order from worst to best:

NH-L9i, LP53 + NF-A9x14, Black Ridge

If the cutout is really big, you can use a Cryorig C7. Small cutouts will cause turbulence.
