Want to add another experience with the 8GB 2666mhz Kingston VLP modules (KVR26N19S8L/8). They're widely available in EU and cheap at about €36 per module. They have weird Nanya A-dies which overclock to 3400mhz and 17, 19, 19, 40 timings at 1.35v. I have briefly tried to push it up to 3600mhz but couldn't get it stable under load. Not the most impressive memory, but it clocks high enough to my likings!
