Forget pre-ordering, forget crowdfunding, forget power bricks, and forget lugging around a huge desktop computer. The Velka M is available now and it lets you create a high performance system that is both smaller and lighter than a 4K console.

The goal of this case is two-fold
  • Achieve maximum performance per unit volume
  • Maintain reasonable noise levels
The case consists of two L shaped pieces and an S shaped motherboard tray in the middle. It can be completely disassembled. Installation of components is mostly tool-less; a screwdriver is needed for only 4 screws.

Support for chassis fans and a dual slot graphics card can make your PC very powerful and well-ventilated for its size. The included mesh mounts magnetically, provides dust filtration, and is significantly less airflow restrictive than perforated sheet metal.

This case supports 175 mm dual slot graphics cards such as the Gigabyte Mini GTX 1060-1080 and RTX 2070. For longer graphics cards, you can order stackable extensions with your case to increase maximum length by 16 mm per set of extensions. These extensions are inserted between the screws and threaded inserts where the panels meet, so installation is straightforward. The case maintains its structural integrity even when several are used. Alternatively, you can make an APU build and have the option to add a graphics card later on.

-Higher space efficiency: In the 4.0 L configured Velka M, you get fully filtered high airflow intakes, support for an internal power supply, dual slot graphics card, and chassis fans. Cases of a similar size do not support exhaust fans.
-Cooling on par with open air: During testing with an R7 1700 overclocked to 3.7 Ghz and a GTX 1080, the CPU ran only 1 degree warmer than on an open air test bench and the GPU ran only 2 degrees warmer than in the open air test bench.
-Easier transition from larger form factors: You can use a long graphics card in this case by getting some extensions until you downsize the graphics card.
-Flexible orientation: You can lay it on its side, let it stand upright for best performance, or upside down to hide the fans. 12 optional rubber feet are included.
-Quality: Full aluminum construction with a macbook-like feel and PEM inserts are only found on far more expensive cases. Quality assessment done in United States before shipping.
-Support: Building in a small case can be tricky, but you are provided with online user manual to make the process as easy as possible. If you run into any issues, you can contact me on any day.

FAQ:
No. The mesh is only 178 mm long, which covers the non-extended case. It is still long enough to cover the intakes if positioned properly with 1 set of extensions. It is recommended to use the case without the mesh if using more than one set of extensions.

Extended mesh may become available if there is enough demand for it. If that happens, it will be possible to cut it to the size that you need manually.

You can attach the included rubber feet onto the side with the ventilation holes and flip the case over. The case will have a solid top panel.

Flex ATX up to 150 mm long (standard length). Using a DC-DC PSU and AC-DC adapter may be possible but there is no mount for the barrel plug that connects the two.

No, but Velka 3 will have aluminum side panels.

Q: Can I use my own riser?
A: Compatibility is only guaranteed for the LiHeat 300 mm D type risers. Other risers 30 cm in length (measured edge to edge) may physically fit but will not mount onto screws and may leave the graphics card insecurely fastened.

Q: Is the GEEEK modular Flex ATX power supply compatible with this case?
A: No.

Q: What is the CPU cooler clearance if no graphics card is used?
A: Same as with one expansion slot. One expansion slot always remains available.

Q: Are there covers for openings in the back if no graphics card is used?
A: Not yet. Covers may become available sometime in the future.

Q: Can I use a DC-DC power supply?
A: There are no adapters available yet to mount these power supplies. It is recommended to wait until they become as an add-on item in the future or become available in a future revision of the case.

Example setup with top 90 degree ethernet adapter, 90 degree displayport adapter, USB hub without ethernet, 27 inch monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse. USB hub shown is plugged into one of two rear USB 3.0 ports. If using a wired keyboard and mouse, USB hub can be plugged into one top USB to make rear ports available for keyboard and mouse. Accessories (highly recommended):

    • To completely eliminate all cables on top except for HDMI/ DisplayPort, consider plugging in a USB hub with the number of needed USB ports and an ethernet port into one of the rear USB ports.

Very nice! Amazing value for this niche market.

Question: why limit the top exhaust fans to 15mm? I like the 4.0 L number, but neither Noctua nor be Quiet make a slim 80mm fan.

Been using it for a while. You don't get as much air pressure but other than that it's not bad actually.
Can confirm, those fans work well.

Question: why limit the top exhaust fans to 15mm? I like the 4.0 L number, but neither Noctua nor be Quiet make a slim 80mm fan.
This was a difficult decision to make, but in the end it seemed more justified to limit compatibility to slimmer fans which can be obtained for a low price point from other companies. Although this is nothing more than speculation, Noctua already makes a 15 x 92 mm, and there may be a possibility of them releasing a 15 x 80 mm fan in the future if there is a market for them.

can you do some alluminium side panels for this case?
There are currently no plans for creating aluminum side panels because of the advantages that the mesh offers, including easy tool-less maintenance and better airflow. However, if the demand is high enough, mounting points for side panels may be added in the next revision and allow people to choose between solid aluminum panels and steel mesh.

Additionally, I plan to offer users fully custom cases where customization is not limited to just side panels.

Paying 70 EUR for shipping is a lot, but you can save some money by spending a few minutes on this.

80 dollars shipping wtf!!! Costs almost as much as the case lol.
wait, the shipping cost for the EU...
Shipping prices for many countries in Europe have been reduced to 26 EUR (30 USD) for 2-3 week shipping and 52 EUR (60 USD) for 6-10 day shipping.
