Above poster is saying he got better temps with exhaust. Also the below video claims to get better temps using the Z39 cooler with exhaust fan. I know generally a cooler like this tends to do better with intake, but Z39 seems to be an exception according to the info I've found online. 🤷‍♂️
Just to clarify I never tested noctua as intake. Another reason for me not to use intake is my dog. I noticed that intake drew dog hairs into the case so I figured I would be better off not using intake. Saying intake or exhaust is worse and not providing any info (so far the only comparison was mine and it’s not a good one) is just pointless. I think people should do their own tests and report back

Can you see if you can remove the side panel and flip the fan without removing the cooler and post your findings seeing as you have a compete system? Obviously it's understandable not to bother if the cooler needs removing. Just thought I'd ask. 😊

Do we know when the D4V2 will be shipping? I ordered yesterday the white with walnut, PCIe 4.0 riser & PSU with Notctua fan mod & custom length cables.
Can't wait.

I'll be using an AMD R5 5600 (non-x), Noctua NH-L9a, Corsair LPX 32GB DDR4-3200, Asrock mobo & PNY GTX 1660 Super I just snagged off eBay for $200- should make for a quick little system :-) I was trying to use an RX 6500 XT with this combo but didn't have any luck in booting 5 different Linux distros I tried.

@Densium.net One more question - The Power button that came with my Densium 4 case is....not working that great. I have a backup button that seems to work fine and would look good but it is way too deep and the front panel is not reversible to keep it from jamming into the PSU. Do you have any recommended power button replacements I can order? Thanks!

Go to the accessory page on densium.net and you can get a new powerbutton for free :)

It'll start production within about a week, and is estimated to take up to 8 weeks until it's ready for shipping
is it possible to get Densium 4 v2
without usb front panel?
It's not yet determined, I'm discussing it with the supplier. If so, it'll be available later.

For everybody who is interested in the Densium 4, the PSU is one of the most important pices to choose as, noise, relaiability and space are all to be considered and can benefit drastically by "the right" power supply. The choices you have, are not big, as there are just not that many FLEX ATX PSUs available on the market. But there are finally more then one to choose from :)

Finally my review to all three "big" Flex ATX power supplies went online! <3
FSP FlexGURU FX500 vs. SilverStone FX600 vs. Enhance ENP-7660B with Noctua Fan Swap by OVERTEK

Here are my results for everybody who doesn't want to watch the 30 Min in-depth review:
(the baseline is a Room-Noise-Level of 35.3dB measured with a basic sound level meter)

Hardware used:
CPU: RYZEN 5600X (Stock) FCLK @1800MHz
GPU: MSI RTX 3060 Ti AERO ITX (Stock)
Board: MSI B550i Gaming Edge Max
RAM: 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 @3600MHz CL14-15-15-35 T1

Idle after 30min. (Room-Noise: 35.3dB):
- FSP FX500G: 35.3dB
- SilverStone FX600: 36.1dB
- Enhance ENP-7660B: 35.9dB (with Noctua Fan Swap by Overtek)

100% System Load ~300W after 15min. Unigine Heaven for GPU and simultaneously IntelBurnTest for CPU:
- FSP FX500G: 51.1dB
- SilverStone FX600: 36.1dB
- Enhance ENP-7660B: 37.6dB (with Noctua Fan Swap by Overtek)

I hope you enjoy my video and find my work helpful! :)

Glad to see an in depth decibel comparison for the FX600! The only downside, in my experience, is it requires some zip-ties and force to close the D4 front panel due to the amount of cables and their lengths.

I installed the EVGA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB in my Densium 4+ and it fit well. I had a problem with the fan closest to the front touching the side panel and first put a small rubber bumper on the RTX 3060 to move the fan away, but it was slightly visible. My final solution was to use a tie strap from the back of the card to the center spline of the case to hold it away from the side. EVGA shows a length of 213.16 and 41.7 width, so you should not have a problem.

I have the Asus Dual Mini 3060Ti (bought it used for 400€), which is has the same dimensions (same cooler) as the Asus 3060 you posted. It fits good in the D4+ V1. The EVGA XC Gaming should fit as well. Actually those 2 Cards are the only 3060Ti that fit the D4+...There is the MSI Aero ITX, but it seems it isn't on the market in Germany anymore.
As for RTX 3060 with one Fan, don't buy the Asus Phoenix, that one is too thick.

Thanks mate. Got me the standard Asus for 400. 😊

I've got 2 big announcements

Firstly:

Last minute change to the Densium 4 and 4+

The USB 3.1 Type-A will be swapped for an USB 3.2 Type-C. This will have higher transfer speeds, better power delivery and a less obstructive cutout in the beautiful front panel!

Secondly:

We've saved up enough to manufacture the Densium 4+ V2 along with the Densium 4, and as last time - It'll be shipping at the same time as the Densium 4. I've got some work to do setting up the website, but It'll open up for pre-order soon!

Audun,

I am interested in ordering another Densium 4+ to teach my 12-year-old son about building computers. Will you be offering the early bird special pricing when ordering is opened, or should I preorder the Densium 4 V2 now and then have you modify the order to a 4+ ?
