there are plug-ins in chrome that auto-zoom into full-screen videos and adjust them to 21:9, but you lose some of the top and bottom. Personally experienced this through amazon prime video and youtube. I think a video needs to be shot in 21:9 to support 21:9. Upside is that many games have 21:9 support than a few years ago.
