Skyreach S4 mini parts questions

hey guys, new to sff.net -

wanted to ask a couple questions about a build i’m working on


so far i’m looking into downsizing my NCASE M1 to a Skyreach 4 Mini (S4M)

does anyone here have experience with the Alpenföhn Black Ridge? more specifically, can it fit inside the S4m? it’s showing to be about 2mm tall. are the heat pipes able to be bent a little bit?

other than that i’m looking at either a Eurocom 780W A/C adapter or the standard Dell 330W external.

i’d want to pair this with an HDPLEX 800w if it can fit inside the case.

i7 9700k vs Ryzen 3800x?
Zoltan 2070 Super Mini > 2080Ti Mini (when it comes out)


thoughts on something like this? i’m looking to cram as much power into the case as i can and supply it with enough power to run.


just kinda shooting for ideas here as i’m not sure if this power setup is overkill for a 2080TI and one of those processors

also - any input as to which processor performs better in SFF?

Josh did a livestream about the Black Ridge you can look up his youtube channel. Basically the cooler is just 0.5mm over the limit and he just pushed the side panel down and screw them in just fine. Any bulge can easily be flatten with force.
